I'm easy to get along with, agreeable most of the time and low maintenance. Love movies, detective mysteries, funky bars, and dogs. For music, I enjoy blues, cowboy, bluegrass, folk--you name it. I would exclude most heavy metal, hip-hop, and anything urban chic. I have a natural curiosity about a wide range of subjects and sometimes research them just for fun. I was a late bloomer in getting educated,and arrived in New Mexico in my 50's to finish graduate studies in archaeology. My bachelor's is in art from Univ. of Wash. I did professional archaeology a few years and then went on to other things although I still love it very much. During this period I learned to love back country camping without hi-tech amenities.I think of myself as a woman who could lunch with the Queen or grub in the mud with equal pleasure.
My Ideal Person:
My companion should be as healthy and self-reliant as I am and able to tolerate an independent partner. I have been single for a lot of years now and can take care of myself, but even so it would be nice to have a wonderful mate to share and enjoy nice times together. I am affectionate, caring and loving by nature. Public displays of affection do not bother me in the least. Casual activities are the most fun, although I clean up well and can enjoy formal occasions. I do know how to act in public. I would probably expect the same of a companion. A nice bottle of wine on the beach at sunset with my honey would be superb! I have an outrageous but clean sense of humor (most of the time). Well, what do you think?
