Widowed after 47 years of marriage, one can feel a bit lonely. I have always believed that one can never have too many friends .
After having to look after a very ill wife for a number of years , at least I can manage quite well around the house. I have my little garden, do a bit of fishing, go for walks, 'though i can't go very far anymore. Love my music and have very varied tastes. Country music, Irish ballads, operas , particularly Verdi( I have everything on disc he has ever written including his Requiem mass.) ,Bellini,Donizetti, Mozart ,Rossini and the works of Vivaldi, Beethoven , particularly his piano concertos. I must admit I do not have the gift of the gab, if i have nothing to say i keep shtum unlike some people. My biggest failure is probably that I do not suffer fools gladly. That probably is why I prefer to chat to ladies. They seem to be more matter-of fact an more down to earth. I will reply to all reaable messages .
Thank you for reading this.
My Ideal Person
Well, any lady who can put up with my exceedingly weird sense of humour.
