Most of my friends would say I am easy-going and positive.
I've been a career teacher.
I keep retiring but seldom stay that way - I enjoy new challenges and meeting new people.
I have two sons in their early 20's completing university and starting on the next big adventure. They are in and out of the house, and I am constantly amazed and usually pleased by their tales of what they are up to. They are pretty low maintenance now. When they remember, they have taken to looking after me - nice change.
I am an animal lover. After a lifetime of big dogs, I have a mini schnauzer - a real clown - portable, washable and non-shedding.
I love reading, walking, all kinds of music(although my own background is classical), dancing, lunching with friends and volunteering.
My Ideal Person:
I like socializing and going out on dates, but I am interested in developing a long-term relationship through regular encounters on-line and in person. Conversation is important - social issues, day-to-day trivia, politics, news, books, work, people ...
I am attracted to people with a sense of humour and a general interest in what life has to offer.
I have no time for power trips and people who have all the answers, rather I enjoy genuine affection and the generosity of spirit that goes with it.
I admire the commitment of those who express their sense of social responsibility through volunteering in the non-profit sector.
Loyalty and kindness are important to me.
