I consider myself a quiet, patient, easy going person who is a good listener. Am comfortable with myself and my career. I am generally optimistic and open to new ideas.
I have 3 grandchildren who live in the area and visit often. Also have 2 pets - a handful of a dog and a parakeet. Would anyone mind if the dog answered the phone?
Enjoy most types of food as long as it's not too spicy - like to try new places.
I usually listen to country or oldies on the radio, but at home a good dose of classical or jazz helps me relax.
Some of my favorite activities include going to antique malls, craft shows, and traveling to new places.
I have been most fortunate in being able to travel to Europe twice. The most interesting as well as at times uneasy was a trip to St. Petersburg, Russia.
My Ideal Person:
I'm looking for someone who is interested in establishing a long-term relationship, be it friendship or more. A companion for dinner, a movie, a concert or play. In moderately good physical health who doesn't mind a short hike or stroll once in a while. Tend to be more old-fashioned than my mother was and would like to see that in a man.
