I thought I'd try this because there has to be a better way to meet people than sitting in a bar. My son and daughter are on their own now, but live nearby. As for me, I'm inquisitive by nature, like to find out how & why things work the way they do, not afraid to work or play at something messy. I'm not a hyper-active person who needs to be on the go all of the time, but I do enjoy getting out and seeing/trying new things. Of course, staying in and snuggling up to watch a movie has it's merits too! I love to camp with my horse, weather permitting, and I've been known to drown some bait once in a while. Actually, most outdoor activities are good with me. I guess you can say I’m a bit of a tomboy at heart, although I like to get spiffy sometimes too - an evening out for a nice dinner and some slow dancing to good music is always welcome. I believe that life is too short not to live well, laugh often, be good to others. I’m not perfect, and I’m not a Barbie doll either, but I am honest, faithful, caring, compassionate, passionate, healthy, smart - with a sense of humor, and fairly self-sufficient. I do my very best to be a good person and do right by people. I’m not looking for a sugar-daddy, not looking for someone who wants me to support them financially either. I WILL give mental and emotional support all the way, though. If we make a connection that feels right, I’ll be your friend, helper, lover and confidant. I'll make chicken soup for you if you have a cold, and bake you the best apple pie when you're feeling better, but please don’t treat me like a servant. I’m not the kind of gal who would want you to give up your “guy” friends for me. I’m flexible enough for an impromptu getaway, heck, I don’t even have a day-planner!
My Ideal Person:
The kind of man that I would like? Well, he would be faithful, know the difference between protective and possessive, someone who touches and holds, but doesn’t grope or cling. Strong, not controlling. Arrogance is not attractive! Instead, he'd have a twinkle in his eye and make me laugh, but know when to be serious. Be willing to dress up once in a while for that night of dinner and dancing. No alcoholics or drug users. Just so you know, I would like to develop a relationship if the chemistry is there. I am NOT just looking for casual intimacy. If you just want to add notches to your bedpost, please look elsewhere. Honesty is a must. Physically, big and tall is good, but not mandatory. Older is fine too. The inside is much more important than the outside. Now you know what makes me tick, so why not drop me a line? Let's see what happens!
