I am trying to adjust to the fact that I'm 64. I have a problem acting my age - my body and mind are stuck @ 39 (well, at least my mind). My age is ever changing, but my interests and lifestyle do not...how actively I pursue them is hindered only by the lack of companionship, not desire or physical ability, since most of what I truly enjoy is enhanced by sharing it with someone of like mind and interests. I get most enjoyment from nature, be it just relaxing on the patio with a good book, or a drive in the country, camping....preferably RV (well, yes, I have grown fond of having a few conveniences even when "roughing it"), boating - love Lake Powell, fishing, water skiing...although it's been awhile. I have been known to ride bikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles and horses. I have played (at) golf - not my best skill - but am sure I could improve with time, patience and a good instructor, played (at) tennis - I had a good instructor now need practice.
I am most comfortable in jeans or shorts but can clean up and dress up if the occasion calls for it - a jazz concert, play, symphony, movie or restaurant - even dancing...although...it's been awhile.
My Ideal Person:
I am open to a relationship (serious or friendship) with someone who is mature, honest, intelligent, emotionally available, handsome, wealthy...or if not handsome and/or wealthy...a great sense of humor. I am seeking a friend, a companion...someone to share thoughts, activities, quiet times and affection.
