I enjoy music, art, photography, reading, learning, and teaching. I love to play back gammon online, and also chess, yahtzee or battleship as a change of pace. Long ago I played tournament tennis and chess! Have always loved horses and dogs, and enjoy drawing or painting them. Was a dog obedience instructor many years.
My most exciting jobs included newspaper editor and public affairs director for the state fair. I organized and ran 16 major parades in Alaska.
I enjoy quiet times now, but would love to travel if I were financially able...Hopefully I will find someone who is of comfortble means which would be a big contrast to my present circumstances.
I do not enjoy being around smokers at all or heavy drinkers...I rarely drink any alcoholic beverages, but might have a drink with a family member when visiting.
I enjoy boats and the water. Have ridden motorcycles, ATV's, and of course horses. I enjoy writing, and many have asked me to write my autobiography though a computer crash took out everything I had written!!! Oh, I prefer the man to be under 6'1" since I am short. My brain is much more active than my body, but I certainly have not lost any feelings in physical responses.
My Ideal Person:
Honest, intelligent, caring, good sense of humor. Preferably who enjoys both classical and country music. Animal lover a plus. A person who is able to pay all the regular monthly bills with some left over.
A man who is not overly tall and who enjoys laughter, good video movies at home, and who has grown up with a loving family and good manners would be ideal for me.
