In a paragraph or two it is difficult to tell others who you are and what you are looking for in life or a partner.
I'm sometimes a poet, often a pauper, never a pawn or a king. In many respects a gypsy at heart, with an insatiable desire to explore our world and experience as much of it as I possibly can. To hop on my bicycle and do a 60 mile trip to see if the river still has water in it or to drive a thousand miles to satisfy my curiosity is not out of character.
I tend to be somewhat quiet in most situations, often listening and contributing when I feel that I have something to add. I like a glass of wine now and then, especially with a good meal. I don't care much for the bar scene, though.
I'm a complex person, mostly self educated, sometimes extremely opinionated and very much a free thinker. I'm a blend of fiscal conservative and very much the liberal regarding how one's life is lived. I'd much rather read and listen to music than watch TV.
In terms of hobbies, I enjoy photography, cycling, sports car racing, sailing, hiking and cooking.
At one time I lived to work, that has been reversed and now I work so that I can pursue life's adventures.
I am trying to blend photography and my love of travel and exploration into a way of making a living in order to pursue both passions on a more or less full time basis.
My Ideal Person:
My ideal companion would share my curiosity about the world. She should have the patience to tolerate someone whose sanity is at times questioned (lol)by those who can't comprehend the concept of seeing what is around the next bend or venturing off of the beaten path to see what is out there, wherever there happens to be.
