In this special time of life, enthusiasm, a sense of humor, curiosity and an expanding range of interests are some of the qualities which, I find, keep the zest in life. Pets, music, theatre, film, lectures, learning about new things,laughter, connecting, listening, integrity, inner strength, wisdom, mutual respect, affection, friendship, compassion, wit, intelligence, positive energy, mutual encouragement, shared interests, walking in the country side, ambling along a lake, singing together, sharing ideas and dreams, maturity laced with playfulness, the desire and ability to see oneself and others clearly and understand who that person actually is -- these are a few of my favorite things and, I've found, contribute to a delicious souffle. My Ideal Person:
Being engaged in life with a desire to fill these years with tenderness, laughter, that 'special spark' and shared affection, the ability and desire to communicate who you are and what makes you unique, as well as 'fighting fair' when angry -- is this man still available and interested? I sincerely hope he is. And, although it may be flattering, children need not apply.
