I am a retired nurse and teacher who was widowed last year. I live with my two grown daughters and take care of my year old grandson. I am interested in writing, web design, online research and making friends of all ages and genders to chat with on the internet. I am told that my best asset is my sense of humor. I'm a shy girl, have high moral values and believe being intimate requires having strong feelings of love for the other person. I would enjoy dates from taking a long ride in the country with no particular destination, visiting the zoo, a museum or an art gallery to eating in a fancy restaurant and viewing a great movie. I am happiest when I am accepted for who I am.
My Ideal Person:
I like persons who can express themselves in words, who are straight forward and honest and those who are not going at the speed of ninty miles and hour. In other words, those able to give a relationship time to blossom. I enjoy spending time with people who can accept and respect the differences in others and not expect me to be a carbon copy. I want to avoid people who are so sensitive that they cannot be told the truth, given any constructive criticism, or who are not able to apologize if they have made a mistake that was hurtful.
