Happily, I am fairly content with my life but do miss having someone to share it with. I would like that someone to be ready to share his life too. I believe most people want romance in their lives…right guys?
I am not your average woman who likes pink, played with dolls, or has to have her hair and nails done constantly. However, as a female I do enjoy dressing up now and then. I like being treated like a woman but not looked down upon because I am a woman. I appreciate cleanliness. I like doing the normal things like dinning out, travel, walks, movies, etc. but I also enjoy snorkeling, watching some sports(especially with friends) as well as target shooting and doing a few art projects along with a whole list of other things. I am an avid reader and listen to a wide variety of music. I love animals (domestic and wild) and dislike hunters. I like the water and the mountains equally. So you see I have varied interests and like to keep myself busy. My sense of humor is quirky. I believe being over 50 doesn’t mean you stop laughing and living.
My home life is calm without “drama”. I live with my 18 year old daughter as my “roommate” along with 3 small dogs, 1 soon to be big dog and 4 cats. Yes, we use a lint roller a lot! I am friends with my ex and his wife as well as past boyfriends (can’t stand jealousy) and have a small close knit group of family and friends.
I drink rarely and am a lifetime non-smoker. I believe in God, not religion(s).
I am not independently wealthy, or wealthy at all, nor am I looking for a rich man. I have my own home and a good car. I work part time for myself.

My Ideal Person:
The person I would like to meet doesn't need to be of a certain size, shape or have a particular color of eye. He doesn't even have to have hair. I am looking for someone who is tidy in his appearance regardless of what he is wearing. I like him to be confident, but not overbearing. An interesting twinkle in the eyes always makes my knees weak. I would like him to have learned how to balance work and fun. And be able to cook, clean and such and not assume one type of work is for woman and the other for men. Having a bit of patience would be a great asset....
I know we are all getting older but would prefer to date someone who is as mobile as I am...at least for a few more years. The biggest things I want in a relationship is honesty,trust,and compassion. If a man shows those traits I will know that his heart is in the right place.
