Fit, reliable, sociable, honest, active, joyful, and loyal.
Enjoy travelling, gardening, camping, cycling, bush walking, snooker, travelling, reading (mainly non-fiction but these days, it is more like book collecting rather than reading), crosswords, sudoku, quizzes, IQ tests even though my IQ is just average. “Who wants to be a millionaire” is one I hardly missed, documentaries, learning (language is one of them)...and God loving.
I came from a country with 4 official languages, and I speak 2 of them fluently.
Have learnt French up to the advanced level but due to lack of opportunities to practice, my fluency of this language is far from desired.
Have traveled to many countries, partly also due to the work I was doing. Was in Western & Eastern Europe including Russia (no, not for MI6) and as north as the Lapland in Norway back in 1980 as a backpacker for nearly 6 months. Went to Qatar, UK, France, and Czech Rep in 2007 thanks to the hospitality of my sister and her friends'.
Had played contract bridge and chess, but far from being good at both. If time permits, and the opportunities arise, wouldn’t mind learning how to play again.
Looking forward to the day of a free fall...might chicken out and do a tandem, but hopefully soon... (This line is no longer valid after having seen on the news how this man's parachutes failed and he plunged to his...no, not death, but broken...)
While I am not too keen on motorcycling, I have done a few trips on motorbike (no, not Harley Davidson) initially just to keep the other party happy (Life is not all about us), and was rather surprised that I did enjoy them.
Have no children nor pets of my own, but I love both.
My Ideal Person:
Honest, truthful, compassionate, love God, financially secure (I didn't say rich. In this area, my motto is Proverbs 15:16-17), and active. Although opposite might attract, but it would be nice to have some similar interests.
