If you are familiar with Don Marquis, you know where my intro title comes from. I like dancing, intelligent conversation, movies & live theater. I also enjoy jaunts with my friends to various places. I have been retired since December of 2002, and love my hard-earned free time immensely. I am active in the Red Hat Society and am queen of a local chapter. My friends describe me as funny,loyal,outgoing and easy to get along with. I intensely dislike chicken in all forms and for that matter, poultry of any kind. I am unimpressed with people who are convinced that their views are the only ones worth considering.
My Ideal Person:
Witty,intelligent,reasonably well educated,good conversationalist, open-minded, doesn't take self too seriously. Would help if we had some mutual interests. My goal for being on this site is to establish friendships either personal for someone nearby or, for someone further away, perhaps an on-line correspondence that would be amusing and entertaining for both of us. I do enjoy email and IM.
