I enjoy making things happen. In my work life I was an English teacher, then an international coordinator and writer. Now I'm happily retired from all that and free to pursue my real love, directing and producing shows for community theater. I've written poetry, plays and liturgical drama!
I'm looking for a loving partner to share the enthusiasms of life. At this point with children and financial responsibilities more or less out of the way, enjoying the beauty of nature, art, culture, spirituality is the goal. It's much more fun to do that in tandem with another kindred soul.
I'd love a comrade to entertain in my lovely new condo, or venture down to the Kennedy Center for a concert or play. Or explore the Caribbean or sail off to Europe on a whim. In the quiet times, we could share an old movie or a Redskins game on Sunday afternoon, or discuss politics, our philosophies or read a book together in front of the fireplace. Anything's possible as long as it's fun!

I'm looking for a companion, a soul-mate, a pal. If you like exploring little burgs, antique malls, new ideas, old movies, the human spiritual journey; if you are emotionally accessible, not afraid of poetry (I write it) or averse to enjoying all kinds of music from Billy Joel to the Beatles to a Bellini opera; if you are hoping to find a soul-mate in this life, then....maybe?? But, know that if you walk my path,you must walk it slowly, and I may need to take your arm at times. Perhaps thus, we might walk into the future together.
