Is there an easy way to describe me? Maybe it’s best to first describe what I’m looking for. I am looking for a companion, one with an optimist outlook on life that matches my own, someone with enough flexibility to enjoy the adventures along the path as the spring up, whether planned or not. Someone who does not need me me to fulfill anything, but rather to share those things that seem empty without another person there to look back on them and laugh.
I am looking for someone who is up for a lively discussion, whether it be metaphysics, politics, or the most recent book they’ve read. Someone who is willing to visit the Ren Fest on a cloudy day (in costume!), see a movie with subtitles, or take in an exotic cuisine. I need someone to realize that as an introvert, I need my own space from time to time, and that it in initially takes me a while to open up to people, but once said I have a laugh that is loud and clear. Someone who is not so much interested what either of us looks like on the outside as they are how good a match we are on the inside. I have had my fill of sites sending me a “perfect match” based on the inside, only to get to the part that what the “perfect” match wants is a slim, stylish blonde on the outside!
I’m a long-time pagan though I stick to no particular tradition, and take my spiritual studies and pursuits seriously. I’m interested in metaphysics and all things paranormal. My fiction tends to be of the SF/Fantasy/Horror vein, as does my movie going, though in the latter I am also open to the quirky off-beat independent films as well. I have no patience for crime or reality TV or shoot-up car chasing buddy movies. I have no problem with understanding adults watching cartoons (I have a few anime vices that I have picked up myself recently) or playing board games, even if I don’t myself. Although I no longer am active in con going, I spent many years attending several a year, and can totally accept the idea of spending several nights dedicated to discussing minute plot points of one’s favorite book, show, or movie.
What I have to offer in return is someone who is a world class listener, and who is always ready to support her friends and companions in time of need. A good laugh, a welcome hug, and a shoulder to cry on when needed.

I am looking for whatever life brings my way--whether it be friends, companions, or if fate sees to grace me, that ever elusive soul mate. Intelligence, wit, and a mind open to things new and challenging.
