Recently I was discussing this topic (me) with a close friend..
I have to say, my life is not empty or lacking in any sad terrible manner.
I actually have a very complete life. I have been blessed many many times over.
I have 4 grown, well educated children. They have all matured into responsible assets to our society. I cherish each of them.
However, I miss having that one special person who allows you to know he will always be there.
I miss being able to share those secret looks that only the two of us understand. I miss being able to feel his arm around my waist.Sitting curled in his arms, talking until the sun comes up...I want to be able to place my open palm on his chest as he sleeps and feel the beat of his heart.
Simply put, I want to spoil and be spoiled... for the rest of my life.
That is who I search for.... my last love, my soul mate, my forever friend, my lover.
I love the scent of fresh cut grass, the way the sky is sometimes pink, a baby's giggle & puppy breath! That first kiss & dancing under the stars, walking in a soft summer rain & making snow angels. That first cup of coffee while you listen to the birds sing their morning songs.
