I've been separated for four years and am about to become divorced. I'm open to the possibility of a relationship but not in a rush to find a partner. I thrive in the company of people who are bright, energetic, funny and fun to be with. I like to laugh and share intelligent conversation. People who take an interest in what's going on around them, whether at the local, national, or global level, are interesting to me. I want to be with someone who sees the positive in life, who is comfortable giving and receiving, and who is not threatened by the idea of equality between a woman and a man. I have grown children, who will always be important to me, but I have my own life as well. It would be great to meet someone with whom I feel comfortable and who shares my interests: hiking, kayaking, listening to music, watching a play, travelling, taking in a good movie, beach combing, or just walking the dog.
