Hello from southern Oregon; my name is Kathy.
I have been told that I can be intimidating to men because I am an independent woman. I have been divorced since 12-01-04 after over two decades of marriage. I have been told I tend to be a bit too tidy, so if you like sloppy houses, I am not the one to communicate with. I am so used to doing things on my own, I automatically grab the drill, saw, hammer or whatever, and go at it which can be bothersome to some men.
I love to dress sexy for the man I care for, and hopefully he will appreciate it. I tend to also spoil the man I love, but it is done from my heart and from my love for him.
I own my own ranch which keeps me busy beyond belief. I have no help, so load the llama, duck or whatever 75 pound sacks of feed on a hand cart and lug them around. It would be nice to have help tossing the alfalfa on freezing nights.
I absolutely love digital photography, and that is my main hobby at the moment. I have won quite a few awards for my work. I have had problems with my knees, so if you like mountain climbing, I will have to watch from below as you climb the cliff.
I believe sensuality is necessary in a relationship, and enjoy a man that is innovative and will surprise me on occasion. I want a good lover, in fact make that an excellent lover. My marriage was sadly lacking in that department.
I am very low maintenance, but I do enjoy dressing up and going out. I am equally comfortable in ripped jeans or a cocktail dress. I like Western wear, and have a great boot collection.
For my whole life I have had to make all decisions on my own, pay all the bills and take care of everything. I would love someone to come along, just for once, and make some decisions for me. Don't ask me continuous questions if it is alright to do this, or go there. Just make the reservations please, and order my dinner.
I am outgoing and not shy around people, and a man with a good sense of humor is necessary for me. Also, with my boots on, I am 5'10" tall. I realize that men do not care if I am taller than them, but I care. I want a man to be at least 5'10" tall. Please read that again if you do not understand what I am saying. And if you are 5'6" tall, please do not e-mail to tell me I am a selfish, non-caring woman for not dating short men. I really do not care what your thoughts on the subject are.
Please be honest about your age, your picture and if you are married or not. I have been lied to so many times, and about so many different things. I never had children, and have no baggage other than my ranch and animals.
I am looking for a man that is kind and gentle, loving, sensitive, has excellent communication skills and is non-violent. His profession does not matter to me, nor does his income, but passion in life and love is a must. No Bi-Polar Disorder or mental problems please. I appreciate rugged good looks in a man, plus a nice body. He must be honest and down to earth, and I tend to prefer men with dark hair, no hair, or a high forehead.
Communication is so important to me, as is the ability to laugh at one's self. Since I live on a ranch, a man that enjoys the outdoors would be preferable. Couch potatoes and lazy men are certainly out of the question. Honesty, integrity and down to earth qualities are things that I desire. I am not impressed by fancy cars, material objects and lots of money, maybe because I lead a comfortable lifestyle myself, and do not need a man to furnish me with those things. I need a man to furnish me with love and understanding.

Cleanliness of one's person is a must, and organization of one's life and finances is a desired trait. I love bubble baths, so if you love bubble baths too, you have my heart!

My Ideal Person:
I described above what I want in a man. I am saying below what a man must want in order to be compatible with me. I think I have a lot to offer to someone, because to me most things are still exciting. I have never lost my childlike excitement over seeing things for the first time, or the excitement of going somewhere, or the pleasure of just seeing that my loved ones are happy. I have so much love in my heart, and absolutely no one to give it to. I have so much pent-up passion and joy, and absolutely no one to share it with. I have so much to talk about, and no one to hear my words. My arms ache to hug someone, but there is no one to hug. I tend to be a workaholic, so I need a strong man to slow me down. I am independant, which can be annoying, plus I am a good money manager, so would need the same quality in a man.
