Serious and reflective at times, outgoing and funloving at others. Love to cook for family and friends, nature lover, music, (learning to play piano!). Still so much to learn. People tell me I am very attractive & sometimes describe me as "striking", look much younger than my years. (Doesn't everyone say that?)That's in the eye of the beholder,so you'll have to judge for yourself! I'm intelligent& perceptive,have a warm, gentle,caring personality- a giver not a taker. Still working for a CEO in a high tech industry, but will retire at the end of '06 to begin the next phase of my life, The Golden Years, they call them? About time I say! I have one son, a full-time architect and talented part-time singer & musician, with whom I am very close, two beautiful grandchildren. Family connections are very important to me & I would hope you value connections with your loved ones as well.
I enjoy fine food and wine-at home and in restaurants as well as pizza, burgers, Yellowtail Cabernet and homemade potato salad! Love music, (big band, jazz, classical, country, James Taylor, Beatles, live theatre, musicals, a bit of Celtic music (my heritage) and even a bit of Pavarotti!) My son says of my musical tastes-"Mom,...who ARE you?" Guess I'm all over the map in that regard! A new interest lately, working out...A lady has to stay in shape!Walking, cooking, gardening, nature, pets, dancing...especially ballroom dancing, decorating and remodeling, reading...(Very big fan of Elizabeth George, the mystery writer)not so much for the mystery, but rather her amazing talent for description and her deep perception of human nature and behavior. Pottery, painting, piano, sculpture, stained glass, gardening, and writing are some of the hobbies/passions I've enjoyed and indulged in. (sadly, I am master of none...) but most of all, PEOPLE, whom I want to invite more of into my life!...
