I have all kinds of interests except sport and a great love of life - this world has so much beauty still to see and share.Many years ago a friend told me that 'to expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised' was the best way forward...........the best way to survive disappointment and the only way to anticipate an outcome. I've decided she was right. Perhaps it is too much to expect that I will again know how it feels to be in love. If it happens it will be wonderful but it's time to stop looking for it.
