Last August I was a very sad and lonely widow. My husband
of 25 years died, suddenly, a year before.
While there were friends and family, they really didn't
need to share my my need to communicate my feelings anymore,
as they had their own lives.
I noticed my daughter visiting online, and thought this
might be my answer. I thought it might be easier to talk to
"strangers".
She showed me how to use the computer and I found SFF, somehow.
I say somehow, because I believe, now, I was led there.
A man from Northern Ontario was also led to this site at nearly
the same time and day.
The first time I saw his handle, Tagalder, I felt something.
I had no physical, emotional, reaction to anyone else I
visited with then or since.
I thought he misunderstood something I said, and felt compelled
to make it right. I emailed him through SFF, and he answered
right away.
We continued to chat in SFF and my heart leaped each time
I saw Tagalder "enter the room".
Soon after we went to Yahoo IM and regular email. Then, the
"first phone call!!!
We had distance to overcome, as I am from Mississippi.
Tagalder and Rific met one year ago this August on SFF and
in person, last December.
The love was real and grows daily. We will always be together
and thank God for sending us to SFF.

Dear SFF,
I joined this site a short while ago with some hesitation
as I began hearing stories about sites such as this and therefore
stayed away for a time. Now I am back and loving it! Although
I have many friends in my area, they also have their own lives
so can't always be around when I need to chat. In SFF,
I am meeting new people every day from all over, including
the other side of the world from me. Everyone's background
differs but yet they all have wonderful stories to share
and humour to indulge in. I am quite busy at times in my own
home business, but manage to come into chat daily for a spell
to say hello to ones I have met and greet those I have not met.
We all have a story to tell and it unfolds slowly in chat each
day. Thanks again SFF!!

Dear SFF,
I joined SFF with some trepidation, as I did not really believe
that a 65 year old widow would have any chance of meeting
a man who would be compatable. I was so wrong. I have been
a member for a year, and in that time I have met some really
kind, intelligent men, all of whom were gentlemen. Some
I have just corresponded with, others I have met.
I would say that I do believe that a great deal of care should
be taken writing one's profile, because I am sure this
contributes greatly to the standard of replies one receives.
In a year I only received one distasteful email, and that
thanks to your efficient service this was easily deleted
and the sender blocked.
Then, just after Christmas I met for lunch the man with whom
I am now living, and we are blissfully happy. I really didn't
believe that true love could happen this late in life, and
especially not through a medium such as SFF.
Thanks a million for making two lonely people very, very
happy.

March 13, 2004 was the ultimate date in my life and I must
tell the world that WITHOUT Senior Friend Finder, I would
still be lonely and searching still; A million thank-yous

Jay and I met thru SFF...in August of 2002. We proceeded
cautiously...and since I was only looking for a penpal
-you can imagine my surprise when Jay gave me a beautiful
diamond ring on 9-12-02....the day after our first person
to person meeting.
We are getting married on 10-18-03. Thanx to SFF, another
romance has come true.

who became my wife on the 24th of May 2003.
I believe her handle was musicmaker. Charlotte
Dicken was her name.
We now plan to merge 2 household goods and enjoy
a life with each other.
A new RV, which provides us with:
A home in the mountains
A home at the shore
And a home in places
we've never been before.

I would like to tell you that I have met a nice gentleman thru
Sr.FriendFinder. I have no idea if anything other than
friendship will come from our knowing each other, but at
least we have that much. I decided that 2003 would be a year
of changes for me and that is how it started out! This man
is opposite from what I usaully date, and I am very happy
that I decided to make big changes in the new year. Maybe
more people should think about trying this and would find
more happiness in their lives. Get out of that rut you have
been in for the last forty or fifty years. "Try It, You might

(photo included). He read my profile and emailed me and
I have been seeing him ever since. We are madly in love
and we just get along great with this short time.
