Then and now 6/5/2017
Then and Now
Nowadays we are so often reminded about our ecological
or environmental “footprint” that is has become just
another noise in the background of busy lives. No one actually
knows just how big their personal footprint is, and should
they somehow find out, they would be hard pressed to determine
what it ought to be.

Does sex end when you get older? 2/23/2015
I wasn't sure where else to put this so I hope it's
ok to put it here. I was wondering why the regular Adult Friend
Finder has sex stories (including mine) posted but here
there isn't any such category. Do they think that we
don't get horny after we get older? I can't speak
for everyone here but I sure do and my boyfriend is grateful
for that. lol

THE MORE THINGS CHANGE, THE MORE THEY STAY THE SAME 9/26/2014
There are many new illness that did not exist when I went
to nursing school or even when I was working in Northern
CA. there was some drug addictions, but seamed more heroin
and later LSD and mushrooms ...At that time if you had a drinking
problem it was pushed under the rug. In my family (my father's)
we had some 'crazy' aunts that were living in one

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER GOOD BREEDING???? 8/31/2014
I saw this word in a blog a couple of days ago, this has nothing
to do with that blog of the writer as such, but the meaning
of the word in it self. My mother used that word freely, if you did not come from
a family that could show a pedigree going centuries back,
you were of no good breeding. This used to make my toes curl,
since most of the people habituating this world are not
able to do this ...

Second Childhood? 6/8/2012
If I should get to choose when second childhood started,
it would be now while I can still enjoy it and if I could choose
what age I would be, it would be "sweet sixteen."
Now I know that in our minds we still think we can do all the
things we use to do and would probably die trying but truth is, we are the "old
folks' according to our and our grandchildren,
and they would be ...

Music of the new generation! 11/29/2010
My grandson was listening to a video on You Tube where they
were just screaming. So I was able to trace it and the words
on it were all f's and b's and c's (obscene
words) so I read the lyrics and was surprised at what passes
for music now with the younger generation! It shows a lack
of vocabulary but the worst part was the screaming!

building roads, bridges and dams, it was a massive program,
my father was in charge of the dam, it was in the Andes about
seven hours from Lima, the roads were hazardous, and very
difficult to reach specially in the rainy seasons when
the roads were washed away. The place was called ...

Assumptions 8/6/2010
In the chatroom tonight someone commented (and I am paraphrasing)
that when she saw that someone was "married"
and "looking for a girlfriend who could be discreet",
she knew the person wasn't being honest.
This made me think about how our experiences and beliefs
can color our assumptions.
I believe the woman who who made the comment is monogamous

I just don't get it. Why so much focus on spending, spending
and more spending for Christmas. I think it should be a time
