I remember the first time,I ever saw you. You looked at me, your eyes at a glance, How was I then to know that your image would rest so fixed in my mind that thinking of it moves me. Though this time , this time the image has still the same effect.A sweetness to the heart that can only be understood for someone who knows you.
Other thoughts so much yours,have been adding up,and today they fill up the corner of my heart - my favorite corner, I run there to search for when we were physically apart. Three years have passed from that day.Today,i would like to say. Thank you for being an important part of my little achievement. Thank you for the faith you have put in me.
Summing up, thank you for bringing happiness to my heart.

When I started blogging, I filled up the title of my blog. It says “As It Goes” and the description was friendship and long distance relationship.
I knew I had posted a number of posts about friendship, and long distance relationship. I even have my clinic hours posted. It is for my friends who are dropping by listening to their love affairs, whining, gossips and all sorts of things. Except cyber sex. Lol
I was wondering one day why I am here. I know I wanted to have fun. I want to share laughter and stories to people out there who got no outlet but this computer. People who might be confused in life. People who recall happy days when I talk about happy times. I had shared my sentiments once in awhile or fall in love whenever I post about my relationship with Stillwatertoo.
It is a good feeling when I read people’s comments in my posts. I feel I need to think about of more to make them happy. Or when I was in my low moments, I read the encouraging words commented to me. I joked on Stillwatertoo one time. Telling him, if this Blogs and the comments given to us will give us income, I will ask him to stay in the computer 24/7. Hahahaha But then this is all for fun. No fame and fortune really. Our consolation prize here is we meet new friends and make people happy reading our posts.
I am happy to see how many viewers visited my post. It makes me feel something inside which is unexplainable. What matters to us are the viewers. There are some who are not fond of commenting but at least we shared to them .I know some were being enlightened, some are getting to have hopes, some are laughing and some are getting annoyed. We just thought it is our way of reaching out.
It is a medium too for Stillwatertoo. I saw his boredom while waiting for his wound to heal. It is not a simple thing to be upset about. It is the wound that’s taking his time to stand by in the condo. We really would like it to heal soon so we can go out more often like we used to do.
Bloggers and readers come and go. Let’s all welcome who joins us to share.

Making An Honest Woman

English is our medium of instruction here in the Philippines. From day care till college, it is a subject. Kids at early age learned it from their parents and family members.
I used to do promotional materials, feasibility studies, went into interim management with some companies. I am a sales and marketing person. I graduated with a degree in Communication Arts. I am a frustrated broadcaster and stage actress.
I thought I know how to speak and write English. I thought I have a good diction and can be easily understood. I thought I was cute speaking in English.
Boy Oh Boy! When I got into SFF I got the big surprised in my life.
We were all posting in English and still sometimes we can not understand each other. Isn’t that funny?
More so, when Stillwatertoo came to meet me, I felt I need to learn a lot more. Sometimes, I say words and he will ask me to spell it. I say it differently. It is our tongue how we say words in English here I think.
One time, I felt bad in the chat room because someone asked me when I can be an honest woman for Stillwater. Geesh I felt my face got hot and I almost cried. I thought he said I was being dishonest with Stillwater. When I told Still about it, he explained to me it is another way of saying when I will be getting married with him.
I will never forget those words hahahahahahahaaha.
It is a funny incident that I will not forget.

Monday Sucks

Remembering Mondays, when I used to work, I can’t help but have a great relief of my days these days. I used to go out of town doing training, endorsing products and hosting. I used to get up at 3:00 A.M to catch a cab and run to the airport for the first flight. It was just an hour trip but the long stay at the airport annoyed Me., but I have no choice.
When I arrived to my destination, I checked in to a hotel and slept till noon time. When I woke up, eat a quick lunch while preparing for my work. . My slot starts at 2:00 P.M. till 5:00 P.M.
After work was done, catch a cab and run for the last flight going back to Manila. Sometimes, there were instances that I just came from a trip and went home midnight, have to prepare again for my next trip.
I was working with that routine in my life for 20 years. Air, land and sea trips made my whole career.
Sundays meant so much to me and when it’s Mondays my butt wouldn’t like to get up.
Monday Sucks! Isn’t it?

Everything Is Beautiful

As I was seated in the dining table, I looked at the TV and a funny act by a local artist here made me really laughed loud. I looked at the sunflowers and the wooden vase beside the entertainment center and think it looks natural and so lovely. I looked at the statue of the couple hugging each other on top of the corner table and imagined how lovely their love for each other is. I looked at the statue of the yoga positions on top of the side table and thought of how beautiful their figures are. I looked a the vase on the center table and found the flowers so cute with their colors. Oh, I love earth colors. I looked at the window and the sky is so beautiful. I looked at the bay and the ships and small boats making a perfect view.
Why is everything beautiful? What I know, when someone looks at life in a very optimistic way and very positive, everything is beautiful.
I tried to make myself always positive in life. Are you?

No More Pinches Please

I was watching Arianne while playing with her keyboard that was given by Stillwatertoo last Christmas. She pressed a button and a music played that reminded me when I was her age.
I had piano lessons when I was in the grade school. My mom wanted me to developed that talent. I remembered she hit me with a ruler whenever I missed a key. Ouch!
Arianne kept playing with her keyboard; I noticed she fixes her hair every now and then. She is very conscious about her hair. I remembered mom again. She always curls my hair with black hair clips and I hated it. When morning comes, mom looked at my hair and the curls were not even because I took off the hair clips the previous night. She pinches me. Ouch!
When Arianne was done playing, she put it back to its place. Again I remembered mom. I got lots of toys same with my siblings. I don’t always put it back and be grounded and not be allowed to play with it for a week. Wah!!
Arianne is sporting a long hair, she fixes it well. She got lots of hair clips in fashion and ribbons. She got lots of toys. She got dolls, tea sets, paper dolls, beads among others. What is making me laugh is she can manage to keep them in place.
Among other things, she can carry her dresses well. She will go home with her uniform and socks still neat.
I remembered mom again. When I was in the grade school, never will I be home with a neat uniform and socks. I just don’t know why? What I can remember, I was very active and always running. I got long legs and played a lot of sports during my days. Of course mom is there again. Ouch!
Wished I was like Arianne when I was her age. No pinches!

AMong My Souvenirs

It is a funny sight to see Stillwatertoo trying to learn how to make use of Ms Word. He thought of getting some computer classes while he is here. But I guessed he only needed basic things to know. Hahahahaha he will never indulge in complicated matters.
He knows now how to use Ms Word, save, drag, copy and paste. Hope he thinks I am a good teacher lol.
I showed him how I saved his posts in the blogs in my folder. His idea is to transfer the posts in the cds . He would like our great grandkids to see what we were doing in this time of our life. I told him I wanted to have it printed. He said it is very expensive to do it. He meant the printing. I told him “what is the price for a very nice souvenir of our time?”

Marrying An Old Man

Still woke me up saying something about the Blogs. I was feeling lazy to get up. My eyes woudn't like to open. I was online chatting with friends till 2 a.m and i knew i only had few hours sleep.
Then, suddenly, I remembered i have to get up. Fixed coffee and oatmeal for breakfast.Turned on the CD player and started playing the Lettermen CD. Still said he already had thought the cd will be played for 2 weeks till we watched "The Zombies" dinner concert on Feb.10.
I decided to start preparing the dish i will serve for lunch. Simplelady's son Herwin and company will be with us.Asianflower and her sister are coming too. And of course Car.
I have decided few days ago what dish i will prepare. It's my grandma's favorite dish too. It is called "Menudo" pork belly, pork liver, potatoes, carrots, bell pepper, raisin and green peas. I had marinated the pork belly last night in finely chopped onions, finely chopped tomatoes, soy sauce, pepper, bay leaf and local lemon. Remembering grandma who was a great cook, i told Stillwater i will cook it her style.
I was singing while the Lettermen cd was playing. Suddenly i remembered grandma told me when i was young "not to sing while i am cooking because my husband will be an old man". That was an old belief here in the Philippines.I told Still about it and we really had a loud laugh hahahahahahahaha.
While laughing Still said"You are marrying an old man because you are an old woman" hahahahahahahaha It was a great laugh!Hahahaha
