what goes around...... Feb 26, 2008 9:05 am

i wrote a blog last summer bout the renaissance faire, my kids and i worked at. what i didnt know at the time is, the guy whom i was working with, would stiff us in our share of the booth profits. about 2 weeks after the faire was over, he was supposed to have gotten the checks and they were to be split 4 ways. he and his brother kept all of the money. my kids and i worked there for free for 7 weeks. my one friend who worked with us made sure the kids got to keep the tips they earned..after he saw that the thief was taking those too. well last night at work, that same friend, said, kelly you know the saying what goes around comes around...the thief is getting audited. seems he claimed kids that arent his to claim..for the last 2 years...and also i had reported him to the faire, and they reported him in turn..so all the income he stole from us, he didnt claim either..and it was thousands of dollars...i never really thought about karma, and things like that.. but it feels good to know that he is getting back some of the ills he deals out. on a good note, the renn. faire has turned over both booths to me this year..i will be the one to allocate the money between two families this year..and i know that my kids will be paid for their hard work. i didnt care as much about the money for me...but i worked those kids hard, and they deserved better. we also had to really scrimp as that money was to go to our mortgage, and we didnt want to get behind.. oh well i guess things happen for a reason. and i certainly learned not to be as trusting as i was. i guess i never knew a person who could hug you and tell you how much you saved their necks..then turn around and stab you in the back. but as my friend les says..what goes around comes around. kellyc aka saucy

it must run in my family Feb 25, 2008 7:49 am

after reading the responses to my wrong car fiasco,i was reminded of a story my mom had told to me years ago. most sundays in Pa, and i think lots of places, it is open house day for people selling their houses. my mom and her 5 sisters, and grandma, decided to go around and look at some open houses because my aunt was pregnant with her 5th child and they needed a bigger house. they started going thru houses in the neighborhood, looking for one that would suit. mom said they had been out a few hours and saw a sign leaning on a house, they parked and entered thru the side door, walked thru the house and started to say what they liked about the decor, and the rooms sizes. the made their way up the stairs to the main level, and there was a family sitting around the dinner table, lol having their sunday dinner, wondering why these people were in their house! it seems the realtor left the sign leaning on their garage, but the open house had actually been the week before. my aunts, mom, and grandma quietly turned around and went back down the stairs....till they got to the car, where they all landed in a heap laffing till they cried. my aunt eve said they almost peed their pants, and were wondering what the family thought of their critique of the house and furnishings, lmao kellyc aka saucy

im just wondering if this has happened to any of you. i went to the grocery store this mornin, my youngest son with me. we did our usual shopping and went back outside. he stopped to get a soda in the machine so i headed to our car. i opened the back door and threw my bags in. i opened the front door and sat down. the car seat was not where i usually have it, so i adjusted it. looked over to the passenger seat and thought,we didnt eat at mcdonalds lately...i was kinda dumbfounded...then i hear my son call from across the parking lot...MOM THAT ISNT OUR CAR!!!! lmao i was actually sitting in someone elses car that looked like mine. i jumped out and grabbed my grocery bag and flew cross the parking lot..hoping to get to mine before the REAL owner came out. afterwards, my son and i laffed so hard that we had tears comin down our faces. i always pass alot of forest green chevy luminas, but never thought bout it much. now i think id better lock my doors at the grocery store, lol or i may come out someday to a strange person adjusting my seat and mirrors, and looking at my hersheybar wrapper in the center consol, thinking...i never ate that!!! lord it is the start to a wonderful day!! lmao kellyc aka saucy

i heard something on the news today that made me gag. no not anything political lol. a young man in his early 20's is appealing a conviction and sentencing. his crime? he had intimate relations with a dead deer. he goes on to say that he doesnt understand why he was arrested for doin this, cause he cant find any laws that say you cant have intimate relations with an animal if its dead..(gag again) when asked why he did this act, he said and i quote..."i saw it lying there in a ditch and just couldnt resist". he also says he doesnt think he needs any kind of the psychiatric care that he is ordered to have. well i guess the dead deer didnt struggle as much as a live one. everytime i hear something like this, i think well no one can top this one....jeesh i HOPE no one can top this one!!!!!kellyc aka saucy

ok i put my big girl panties on. i admit i am an emotional creature. i always have been. sometimes i can be a bit of a drama queen, and on those lovely PMS times of the month i can cry for days. those are the days i should just put steel magnolias in the dvd player and just cry till its all out of me. i didnt want to leave forever, just needed time to regroup. i luv most of ya, and am learnin to ignore the ones i dont. but youve become a part of my life dammit. i prolly couldnt leave forever even if i tried really hard. ty for all of those who want me here and screw ya to the ones who dont. ill try to keep my big girl panties on until the day i need to trade em in for depends. hugs n smooches kellyc aka saucy ps, i still may stomp my feet and pout on some occasions..jeesh i cant grow up all at once!!!

is it worse? Feb 13, 2008 9:21 am

while hillary and bill clinton demand an apology for the pimping remark made about chelsea, it got me thinking on whether bill ever apologised to...gennifer flowers...kathleen willey....paula jones....even monica...he smeared their names too (after he was caught) did he think their mothers didnt care? i do agree the comment was disgusting and uncalled for. but usuing it to focus attention on a campaign and keeping it in the spot light is just as bad. is the exploitation of one woman worse than others, because she is a presidents daughter? kellyc aka saucy

did you ever just blow your tax refund? Feb 7, 2008 1:00 pm
876 Views
my son got his first big tax refund check on monday. he took the some of the money and ordered some cases of football cards and two jerseys on the net. i know some people think that it is irresponsible at the age of 21 to do this and he should be saving for something. the reason i dont care is because he was my rock when i first got divorced. he watched his brothers and sister when i had to work 3rd shift to support us, and alot of times he had to be an adult before he was meant to be. so now i indulge him and let him spend his money the way he wants and to be a bit free without nagging him about it. anyway, back to the point.... when i turned 19 i took all of my tax refund money and went to bermuda with my best friend, to follow a local band..lol yes saucy was a groupie.. we had a blast, and ended up after the weekend, finding a place to stay and we stayed 2 weeks longer than we planned...when i look back now..boy we were dumb...we moved in with a guy and his 2 teenage sons for 2 weeks..without knowin who the heck they were..we went to the bar and got invited to an after hours party, and then found out that the party consisted of me my friend and two local guys who thought they were gonna get lucky, and then when they realized they werent, lol locked us in the bar..we were there till morning when a security guard found us..and said we were lucky he was just about to leave. we got out about 7 am and had to make the plane by 10 am. that is the story of how i blew my income tax one year. did any of you do anything completely wild or dumb with yours? or blow a big amt of money on something you just had to do? and have nothing to how for it but wild crazy memories? cmon i know you do!! i spilled mine tell me yours!! kellyc aka saucy

the super delegate and why your vote or caucaus may not count Feb 7, 2008 6:02 am
682 Views
this term super delegate was something i heard on the news last night and decided to research. just because the people vote one way, doesnt mean that the super delegates will follow suit.this is one of the articles i found.

The electoral term, super delegate, has been heard frequently throughout the primary season. Yet, most people are clueless as to its definition. Super delegates play a key role sometimes in determining a party's nominee. In fact, super delegates could determine which candidate receives the nomination for president.

Simply, super delegates consist of current and former elected office holders and partly officials. Super delegates are likened with the Democratic Party. The Democratic National Convention has a total of 796 super delegates. These super delegates consist of all former Democratic Presidents, Vice Presidents, Governors, and Congress members among many others (DNC). Presidential candidates need the bulk of delegate and super delegate votes to become the nominee. (DemWatch)

Super delegates were established to better represent the voters who elected the officials into office. However, super delegates are not forced to give their vote to the candidate that the voters desire. Some have even called for the elimination of super delegates from the Democratic primaries. The magic number of delegates (the popular vote) and super delegates to receive the nomination for Democrats is 2,025. As of Super Tuesday, Hillary Clinton has a total of 818 total delegates and super delegates whereas Barack Obama has 730. This basically boils down to 210 super delegates for Clinton and 110 for Obama (CNN). One of the reasons for this gap between Clinton and Obama is experience. Members of Congress, who have worked side-by-side with Clinton for years while she was the First Lady and the Senator from New York, are leaning toward her because of her experience. Obama is a recent and new face to Washington and some have remained skeptical of his viability. Clinton has received super delegates from the governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer, and Senator Chuck Schumer. In addition, she has received many super delegates from members of the House of Representatives from numerous states. As part of the super delegate rules, Senator Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, both count as separate delegates. There is not much of a surprise there! Obama has received super delegates from Representative Jesse Jackson Jr., former Senator John Kerry, and most recently, Senator Ted Kennedy. (DemWatch)

Undoubtedly, super delegates will help determine who wins the nomination. The tight race between Clinton and Obama is now trickling down to the super delegates. They have been pretty much dead even throughout this nomination process. Ultimately, super delegates will be crucial for this election.
