I saw on the news yesterday that many companies are reducing the amt of product in their packing. but keeping the same price. Edies ice cream, Sheds country spread margarine, Frito lay, Helmans and Kelloggs have all reduced the amt of product in same size packaging. I know that the cost of everything is going up. But it seems a little deceitful to do it this way. Some people may not check the amts in the containers and never know it is happening. They say that we wont notice the "small" difference, so it isnt really a problem. Alot of people are struggling and living pay check to pay check..people living on a bidget will notice if their food isnt lasting them a week anymore. And people with kids will notice take notice! I know its all about the dollar..and I think it is ok to make a profit in industry..but admit it..dont try to deceive the consumer by making it look like it isnt happening.
