This picture was taken of me skiing at Snowbird Utah. We climbed higher on the mountain and came down until we found this great cliff to jump off. Look closely and see the landing area. I was in a group of four and I was 2nd to do the jump. I landed the jump and continued to ski in the fantastic powder. One of my last thrills before I had my knees replacements.

I will be posting pics after I edit them and include names. We all had a fantastic time with great friends and beautiful weather. The pics will be on f/b for all to enjoy...thank you michiana for hosting the gala event.

This to me is hilarious because Salsa enjoying poolside right beside a sign that says "NO DIVING"...  . Salsa has a great fear of water let alone getting her hair wet  also the sign says "Pool hours: dusk until dawn" but we had many moonlight swims  Please call 911 when Salsa sees me post this pic !!

The day was just typically gorgeous and I decided to spend it working on my tan at Ft Myers Beach. I was all set up with my chair and cooler full of a delicious snack lunch with my ipod playing soft music creating a soothing background atmosphere. The sun was making me drowsy and I decided on having a quiet undisturbed nap while I toasted. For some reason I detected all was not right and awoke to find this turtle about 3 feet from my chair! Immediately I jumped up in fright and grabbed my camera to take capture the moment. I snapped away then gently grabbed the turtle by the shell and returned it to the water where it had started from. My eyes were wide open and I think I lost some of my tan! At least I never lost any of my lunch , or body parts for that matter! After this incident I have trouble closing my eyes at the beach! People nearby remarked that they watched the turtle make a beeline for me and wondered when I was going to move when they saw me fly out of my chair! They say a picture is worth a thousand words but this one included a few hurried curses!!

"Norman Love's Chocolates"...This was a gift for family very dear to me at Christmas. Each little chocolate is hand designed and no two are the same. Of course I refused to eat any...lol....Which one do you chose?

This picture was taken from the cabin window looking down to the lake. If you look closely you will see three dogs laying in the snow having a snooze as the snow falls on them. One dog is a border collie/lab mix while the other two are bernese mountain dogs
{Ben and Bella, Ben has since passed away}.
