kronos, kratia, demo, - all are greek, the latter two, rule/people, better stated, its demo kratia, hence, people rule, hence again, democracy
dats jus' a litt'r stuff i learned in hi skool, after all
HUKED ON FONIKS REELY WURKED FER ME
i'm sure you could tell, that definitive flair you have for the obvious will take you places.
so now, its the "amerikai tragedia", now those of you who can translate that title to plain jane english will be worthy of a prize.
but first, name the language ....
no cheating now, any of you magyars, i don't want to hear from you.
most of you don't know what/who a magyar is unless you collect stamps, or have gone beyond a grade 6 education....perhaps 3 ????
so lets continue, but before i do, the term above 'plain jane' is definitely used for the 'english' language, cause its said to be extremely "cut and dry" , its boring, it lacks expressiveness compared to the "fwench"
i hate to say this, but an ole comrade from prague (dats in the check/czech republic) said that he found english so easy to learn cause it has virtually so little expression compared to czech.
now, personally, i find the english language to be, at least for me, relatively expressive, at least for my needs,
the great misfortune here is that i don't know enough of my mother-tongue to differentiate, although i can carry a fluent conversation in it too, i speak the 'kitchen magyar' that would get me by in virtually any simple simon convo.... with the exceptions of mechanical or medical lingo...a few more exceptions could be granted.
i know a few arabs, who speak virtually fluent english, and they all said that learning it was like falling off a log, then i asked them how rich was their arabic language, they all replied that at their ages, all being over 55, that they were still learning things in the mother tongue expressions/words that were new to them - thats how vast their language is.
now, down to the grits...
nalan omar abdullah hamourabi, whatever his name , who blew away bout 13 people in fort hood, well....good ole cnn brought to light an interesting thing when they commented that "its been said" that he (omar hamourabi) had bad feelings bout himself and that of americans destroying his fellow muslim arabs in iraq /afghanistan
then 1 of the deceased person's daughter of ft. hood, who spoke of her view regarding omar, stated that she hoped that this entire fiasco would not be blamed on arabs/muslims just because of omar, who she stated, was a sick/disturbed person.
i found that to be a brilliant statement on her part, she could have flair up and given a completely different view, blaming all other muslims for what happend at ft. hood.
but...she was calm, and thought with her mind (in fact i viewed her as a hippy freakazoid peace-nik), regardless...she did the right thing.
i could just see some americans going wild (gurls gone wild) and doing the nasty, re-load and ...getting their nooses ready for another "mississippi burning" style of lynchings, but this time, picking muslim/arabs
don't forget, there are a number of christians arabs i've met, so far, all lebonese christians. so not all arabs are muslims, but most are....no., i haven't done a survey/research to see just what the muslim/christian arab break down is.
see how the story goes, from the basic words of democracy, its origin of the two words, down to the ft. hood fiasco.
now, for all you valued watchers of cnn....i now turn you over to doctor sanja gupta (more hamourabis on the way)
praise be to ravi shankar ! (john lennon)

tcm happens to be one of my favorite channels.
and of the most recent visit of prince charles to canada, i saw a short cut of 'the harvey girls' (i sure hope i have that title correct) ...........anyway, i believe its my favorite little gurl who said in another movie "toto, i don't think this is kansas", the sweetheart...judy garland
judy sings a tune...something like this ....." atchison topeka to santa fe..."
sure enough, the man on judy's right, happens to look like the idiot baffoon face........princess charlie horse !
wow ! i thought, there was another guy on the planet that looks like that ugly sack of dawg dirt...
then i remembered charlie horse's coronation when he stated how wales had such a great history and produced some great people...
and he listed petula clark and tom jones....even at the young age of whatever i happened to be at the time, when i saw charlie horse on tv , he looked like some whack job that escaped from the mental asylum......i thought jack nicholson looked very normal in "the shining" compared to charlie horse.
and camillia, i swear to christ and mohammed that she is really a HE.
pity, when queenie bites the royal casket, and that dofus face charlie gets in, the british mint will go into a tailspin trying to configure that 'elephant ears' on their coins and paper currency.
* editor's note: yes, i rhed dylan thomas' "under milkwood", and i found it to be horrifically rotten, then again, he was never regarded as a literary artist, other than in wales, the poor drunkard, then again, burton was a drunkard too.

The Dawning of the Age of "Hilarious "

you know i must be a bit lonely cause this is my third writing today.
maybe i'll get some goldfish to excite me or a snail....., now thats what i call excitement !
do you ever get bored ? even when you have company, sometimes you'd wish they'd just get up and leave cause you're either tired from a long day, or you're just tired of listening to them tell the same ole story over 'n over again ?
a really good hint to those kind of guests is when you fall asleep in the middle of them yakking away at a mile a minute (which is really 60 miles per hour) - i studied math, so i figured it out all by my self.
do some of your friends remind you of the people on seinfeld?
personally, i like that dreyfus gal
i used to like getting together with people after work ....for the past few years, i've not done that...i keep to myself out of choice, we (my buddy and i, who is a gal, but i view her as a buddy) we go out for the usual breakfast a few times a week, or she'll make me something at her place since i'm a lousy cook (lazy is the real meaning).
we go to movies almost every week, even if the flick stinks, we'll go for the "theater" style popcorn and soda.
i'm home alone now, getting ready for an early start in the morning ... tools are in the truck, they're all cleaned up....raring to go!
in fact, i'm not really that bored, but i like to write, they say its good therapy. its good for me cause i do get some interest in seeing just how many views i get.
the last time, when i went under jack303, i got a total of 54,251 views...i was totally WOWED !
granted, i realize that " a view " does not neccesarily mean that everybody actually reads my article, but its nice for me to know that i caught the eye of someone. they may even comment of how they think i'm a nut case, or they just won't comment at all after reading the first line or two.
i'm sure i've gotten such acclaim that when people see my article, they go out of the way NOT to read me ! ...ha ha ha !
we're definitely in the dawning of the age of hilarious !

The Heart is a Lonely Hunter

its been a few weeks now that i said to myself that i won't be paying to write and entertain, so i discontinued my membership and logged on .... and the typical bull that this sff does is TRY to entice people to join by offering them juicy tid-bits.
either way, its the people's choice to join.
before i left sff, after being here from july 2008 to september 2009, i added up all the monthly fees and i thought if i would have used another 1/10th of 1 % of my brain, i would have saved enough money to have a nice flight to some tropical place for a week .... ahhh, the memories of that would have been priceless...instead, i opted to stay here and get insulted by some of the freakazoids who frequent this place - wow ! and i thought i was lonely.
by the by, if you are lonely, watch "the heart is a lonely hunter" , its a very weird film which i saw in high school in 1971 - alan arkin, who i viewed as a total whacko, suited the main character.
