Thanksgiving Over, Stressed Begins

I am going to let you in on my life on Happiness. It has so much to do what I am about to write. I would say, say but since I am typing I thought write is better English. I think. 
Ok, here is one of several of my key notes on Happiness. First you have to do away with stress, I mean all of it. You all are saying , now how do you do that? I am going to bring it to light and you will thank me so much, at least I hope so.  If you don't then you may have just found the secret yourself. Then you can pass it on to me to add to my list of Happiness in life, day by day.
Ok, my SFF friends , drum roll please @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@, you like them drums?  It is this Stressed is just Desserts spelled backwards. So there you have it, when you get stressed out, just have a desert, yes so simple. Yes, it will make you feel good. Now if your watching your weight or sugar intake, no problem, today they have low fat, no sugar deserts all over the place.
A good donut, a chocolate cake , a good Snickers bar will just bring you to a new high of happiness. I am so glad I was able to help so many in this stressful time of year.  So my SFF friends be happy , enjoy life, keep smiling and for sure have a Desert.

Wishing everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a very enjoyable one with family friends and of course be safe in your travels.
I know I will be having a wonderful day. Starting off going to Mass, giving thanks for all my blessings. Then off to daughters and some awesome food and company.
If you can during your day, just say a prayer for our Military and there families. They all are going through a ruff time being seperated by there loved ones. Sure they may put on a brave front but it sure does hit you in the heart each moment your away.

I read a Survey , where the question was: Should we ban smoking in the USA?
WOW! This is getting out of hand as I thought and pondered the question. I could see if we did ban smoking, there would less cancer and so on. Nice! As I thought further I said, to myself; Self! Why not ban liquor, then we would not need MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers. Cause there would be no drunks.
I was on a roll , so I kept the brain working harder and harder. I thought why not close McDonald's and all other Fast Food places, just think how many people would lose weight and we need not have obesity. WOW! now that is good too. Then I went on to think , why not do away with drugs, all drugs. No, that won't work so why not make them legal, just think about the drug Cartel, they will have to change to raising beef and growing potatoes for fries. You could go down to your local drug store and pick up any drugs you want FREE. Yes FREE, cause after all we want health care for all , right?
Then I thought why not make Iran, Saudi Arabia, France, and every country that doesn't like the USA, make them a "State". Yes, make them a State of the USA and we would not have to worry, because they will be too busy killing and blowing up and hating there own countrymen. Yes, I am on a roll.
So getting back to the first question. Should we ban smoking in the USA? Now I am giving you a chance to ponder your thoughts too.
Have a wonderful day and by no means did I wish to offend smokers, liquor drinkers, hamburger eaters in any way shape or form.

Are You Happy ?

I, a man who looks at life with Rose colored glasses, who see's more beauty in a smile. I can watch the breeze whip through the trees and be so happy. Some just pass it on by. Sure there is darkness around us but I always look for the bright spark nearby.
Yet in this day of our country (USA) , I wonder what we have done with so much, to have gained so little, at such a great cost to all. As for me, I was notified that my health insurance is going UP by 30%, yes 30 percent. I have been notified that my credit bills interest rates are going UP. Gas prices going UP all around us, next is heating fuels. Stimulus package has done little if nothing to help the average citizen, yet we are hearing how much all this will benefit us in the end. What end? Who's end?
I am not complaining as I know most other share in the same boat, looking for that paddle to get out of the muck. Well my friends if you do get your paddle, I applaud your fortitude and courage, for some will not only miss the paddle but will lose the boat too.
Here's a story about education: A lady in her 30's had a wonderful job, very nice apartment, good car, money in the bank and a college degree. Though she had no living family members. Then one day she was told she lost her job, she was upset but figured she could get another job soon. Months go by and money going out of savings, she had to move out of her nice apartment into a not so nice one. Still months go by, and she hears, you are over qualified, too much education, can't pay that much in salary, etc, etc. More time goes by and she has to move out of not so nice apartment and finally into her car. She is now, homeless, living out of her car. She can't get a job because she has no address, no home, no mail box, no PC. Then she even losses her car and now she is on the streets alone. How can this happen in America? But it does!
From a successful college graduate woman, to living on the streets. It took some time before she got out of that situation and it was due to the kindness of another human being. To give her a place, an address, a location and some cloths, shower, and money. This all before she could get out of the pits of nothing and work her way back up the ladder of life. This is true and so sad.
I hope and pray we all have someone to call family or friend that could be there for us when we are in need. Smile my friends and live life with smiles and courage. Always look at the beauty that is around us and near us.

Ok, Time Does Fly

Here it is Sunday! Where does the time go? Seems there is always something to do or get done. Yet when its done, there is more to do or get done. So there is no rush to get it all done because as soon as you get it done , there will be other things to get done.
So here is some words of wisdom for all:
Fishermen.... While fishing at his favorite hole, the jerk waits for a jerk at the end of his pole.
Ok, that's it, more to come when I get back from my fishing trip.
Though its been awhile since my last official visit to SSF, I want you to know I think of you all. So in this I will do my best to come by more often. Well really its hard with all that goes on and then there is Facebook, Youtube, Hotmail, and all other cyber space places. I will do my best. Please take care and keep smiling. After all so many here are the reason for so much happiness in this world.

Its a Grand TGIF--

Yes, it is a grand TGIF. I am having a good one in my area of the USA. But then Canada, Italy, England, Scotland, and every where in between has just a beautiful, wonderful TGIF as I do here. You can really get down if you listen and watch only the news all the time. I mean more depressing stuff than good.
So why watch and hear the gore that is around us, when we can make a difference by making it a happier place instead. I will never get over how many are getting caught using , making , transporting drugs. NUTS! I can pick up a stone from the ground and find more interest in that than any off beat drug. Have you done that lately? If not , try it. Just pick a stone up and look at it, I mean really look at it and wonder how long its been like that. Was it ever a boulder that was washed down a stream and over the years became smaller and smaller from all the tumbling along its journey.
We are like that stone in some ways tumbling through life, getting beat up along the way, from family, friends, job, husband, wife, the list is endless. Or as long or short as You make it. Yet, from all the tumbles we have taken, we just need to get up and smile, and know we can make it a better day and life. So forget the bad stuff, the hurt, bills , and look for the bright star , it could be a simple as a slice of pizza, a cup of coffee. Or as meaningful as another human being who really cares for no reason than just to care about you.
Yes, its a grand TGIF, and I hope always that it will be even better , more fantastic than just grand. So all my friend's and those I wish would be my friends, smile. Make it a day and weekend to of happiness , fun, laughter and always smiles. May you be Blessed and loved for the wonderful person you are and that others may be Blessed from finding your secret Smile.

I get on line and see where I am Available for chats, e-mails, IM's etc and yet no one knows I'm there.  Oh, it's not so bad but then its a wondering thing. I'm not even available for family, they have there life and things going on so its hard to fit in at times. Then there's friends who have come and gone. Where are they now? Not to say I am popular in any sense of the word, cause I know of others who command that very position. I applaud there personality, in fact one of over very own got me hooked.
Yes, got me hooked on NCIS.
I started watching that show and really got hooked and know I look for it every chance that I'm watching TV. So all I have to say is" Well Done", you have changed my life just like Obama said, we need change. I wonder if this is the right change or should I get any change back in the end.
No matter, thanks so much Belle for just letting me know about the series.
Since I closed the Antique store I have been busy in a differant kind of way. Yes, doing more stuff around the Mansion, I would have said, Castle, but the mott is dried up and the castle keep is un-kept, so I'll stick to Mansion till I get this Fortress in shape. 
Well I think that's it for now, after all I don't want to get too many confused as I am. So please have a wonderful week and keep smiling. I am doing my part and so far its going OK. Though I am Available for parties, weddings and socials. : D

Its Going Really Good Now

Hi all! Its going really good since I closed the store. Oh, yes I had my time packing and moving everything but that's done now. In fact I am getting settled back into my favorite time:
Everyday is Saturday, Except Sunday, routine.
Yes, Everyday is Saturday , except for Sunday, that's my day of rest and worship. I have mowed grass, piled limbs ready for to burn, have re-arranged the garage again, etc, etc. Plus I am into NCIS, that is the best show besides Frasier.
Making plans for more trips, out West. Plan on stopping at Gene Autry's place in Oklahoma and Trinidad, Co. Also plan on taking my time getting to visit son in Vegas.
Well all I wish you the very best and hope all is going well in your lives. If its not , give me a  and I will set you on the right track to being Happy.
Keep smiling and enjoy every minute of life, it is beautiful.

Saturday, The Last Day

Hello, everyone, Saturday was the last day I was opened for business and it went well. Sure I had mixed feelings but over all I was very happy about the direction that I am heading.
I am doing great and even started packing some 4 boxes ready to go to my new booth. Today , after Church and breakfast at a neat little restaurant, I headed back to the store. I wanted to bring a nice dresser and mirror back home to use for myself. While I was there I did some more work to get things ready to bring my trailer on Tuesday.
The weather is suppose to be wonderful for the next 3 -4 days so that will help me too. I have so much on my mind , what to bring home, what to bring to my new booth and so on. Seems like there is always something that has to be done when you make a move.
Well I hope you all are doing well and smiling. Don't worry about tomorrow, just keep today on track. If I can help in any way , let me know. I have you always in my prayers and that's for sure.

Too Much Time

Well since I will be having too much time on my hands soon, due to closing of my store. I have decided to join a Gym and beef up some. I want to make sure that Gym has all that I need to get the body I want to be. I have already cut out the picture of what I want to look like.
I have also decided to get a make over; hair, manicure, pedicure, tuck here and a pull there. I just have to decide if they can do anything with the age thing? One place said, they could reverse my age , wow. Then I would be 46.
Ok, if I over due the beef up stuff I may come out looking like the Six Million Dollar man, only at the Six Dollar and ninety-nine cent level. At least I would have given it a try. I will take before and after pictures, as long as my camera can handle the strain.
Ok, that's enough of me , now lets talk about you. Please be careful in what ever you do. Life is beautiful and you need to enjoy each and everyday. No matter what clouds come your way, the sunshine will always follow. So keep smiling and be happy and let all see it.
