670 Views | | Seeing how it is almost halloween, I was remembering, an old Spooky Soap Opera from the 60's...Dark Shadows. It used to fascinate and scare me at the same time. Once had a scary nightmare where Barnabas Collins was out to get me. What tv or movie character do u think is the scariest of the scary? | |

717 Views | | Since things can get a little tense in here, I thought I would try something to lighten the mood. WIth the way the world is today, there is a great need for heroes. We all looked up to the Superheroes as kids. If you could be any superhero for a day, who would it be and why? Personally, I would be Batman. He was my favorite as a kid. I guess it was because he had all those cool gadgets. | |

Mood: lonely, 820 Views | | When we all joined this site, we were asked what we are looking for. While, some of us just want penpals and friends, others want someone, with whom they can do things with. Still there are others, who want a serious relationship. While others want to grab the brass ring...marriage. All seemingly different things, but are they really. We are all here because we are tired of being alone. We want to share time with another human being, even if it is only by chat. Loneliness can affect anyone. I dont care if your a waitress, firefighter, doctor, teaher of marine. It can strike you down faster than any bullet. Even Superman gets lonely, when Lois Lane isnt around. Just remember that the next time a new member pops into a chatroom. At least say hello, and welcome them, to our new family. | |

Mood: annoyed, 759 Views | | WHen you read a new blog, you sometimes see a note on the side, which sets the tone of the blog. WHile other times there isnt any tone set. So how are you to now, if the blog is serious in nature or just some kind of joke. Recently, I responded to a blog, about how to train a man-by using a dog training guide book. It was down right insulting , not just to men, but to women as well. Then after I responded, I saw that only than did she say it was a joke, but dared to attack me and lavercam as well. So if you are posting a blog and its kind of border line, please state how you are presenting it. If you dont, you make a lot of people unhappy. | |

Mood: angry, 741 Views | I have lost a good friend in here, because of all the drama that exsits in here. All the name calling and infighting has droe her to leave SFF. With the loss of my wife, there has been a blank space in my heart. Now while Im not ready to date, this friend was a light house to me, a shinning becon, in an otherwise dark exsitance.When are some people going to learn, that their actions not only affect them, but others as well. There was a real connection between my friend and I, and I believe that it could have grown into something special. I thank u for ruining my life...This only applies to those individuals, who are always causing trouble.

| Happy Anniverary |

Mood: loved, 936 Views | Love is a wondrous thing. You meet that special someone, who you have searched your whole life for, and by the grace of God there she is. You plan a future together and get married, and you cant wait to see what life throws your way.
Right away you deal with illness and heartache, and you joke that this is just God's way of getting the bad stuff done with first. You are ready, to start experiencing the better part of, "For Better or For Worse." You can feel the weight of the whole on your shoulders, and she see the strain, that it is having on you. She is more worried about you, than she is about herself. Through all the pain and suffering, she stills smiles at you every day, and tells you, that there isn't a day that goes by, that she doesn't thank God for you. To her, you are her US Marine, and Her Superman, a nickname given to you, by your 5 year old grandson. In the end however, Superman was not able to save his Lois Lane. Just like that, she was gone.
We had 3 great years of love together. The love we possessed was more than most people experience in a lifetime. Tomorrow is September 24th,2007. It would have been our 2nd wedding anniversary. I miss her so very much. Baby I love you. I just wanted to tell you Happy Anniversary darling. | |

Mood: frustrated, 1150 Views | most of the people, that I have meet here in SFF have been very nice to me. I was a memebr here 3 years ago, before I met and married my wife. She recently passed away, on July 24th 2oo7, just 2 months shy of our second wedding anniversary. Like I said, most members have been very kind, and I have received some good words of advice, from members who have gone through, what I currently am.
My return to SFF was mainly to seek new frienships, to help me through my current ordel. So, this is what confuses me. There are members who claimthey seek pen pals and friendship. However, when I say, that I would be proud to be their pen pal, I am told that they are to old for me. Now my question is this, what does age have to do with friendship? | |
