Well, today, I experienced my first day in the trenches, so to speak. it was my first day, as a Nashville 1st grade teacher. Now, this is not, a regular elementary school. This is called an inhancement school. most of the students either have ADD, ADHD, behavioral problems or other problems. Today was quite a challenge. I, however, will do whatever it takes, to be a good teacher. This means too much to me. If I do good in this, than maybe, they will find another position for me. WIsh me well, and say a prayer or two. Not so much for me, but for the students. So that I can be a good teacher for them. So that they can get a good education.

AS of right now, I have a job, as a First grade teacher, in the Nashville Public school System. It's only supposed to be for a few months, but we will see where it might lead. Wish me well. maybe tomorrow, some child will bring me an apple.

Today, while waiting at the library for a computer, I was catching up my reading of the Sunday paper. In the Sunday paper, ther is a small magazine type section called Parade, which has different kinds of articles. I saw one on stress relief. It said that, a good way to releave stress is to hold hands. It said that it is truly good for married couples. Upon thinking about it, I realized, that when I was holding my wife's hand, I was completely relaxed. This makes me think of the Beatles song: "I want to hold your hand". Now all I need is some lovely lady to hold my hand. Any takers?

Well, its almost here. Another milestone, on this lonely road. I think I do pretty well most of the time, but these milestones are murder. I really do appreciate, all my friends here, who have gone through what I have. Of course, i appreciate those who have not as well. What I am trying to say, is that Wednsday, wouyld have been mine and my wife's 3rd Wedding Anniversary. I just dont know how I can go on at times, but I know that I will. Time stops for no man or woman, rich or poor, power or powerless.
We all have to endure, what life throws at us. It is because of my faith, that I know I will see her again. I have to believe that, or if not, what is the point in living. Fear not, for I know I will get through this, with a little help from my friends.

As most of you know, that is September 11th, 2008. It was only seven years ago, when life as we knew it changed as we knew it. A few days after it all came crashing down, I was inspired to write some lyrics, and I would like to share them with you now.
The song is titled:

United We Stand

On the day after September 11th, 2000 and 1
was the start of just another day,
in New York and Washington,
business men and women,
parents sons and daughters,
could not understand what happened,
as they just witnessed the slaughter,
real live heroes appeared,
who tried to save they day,
but many were lost and perished,

I want to thank all my friends, who were able to attend the nashville Bash. While I only got to attend on Sat evening since I had to work, but I had a blast!!!!! I got to meet Yellow Duck(AFLACK), The lovely Lubby, MissMott, Ladynads, Nancy B, Two Step partner , Meme, Mr and Mrs Joe and many others. I got to sing for them at John A's, and I giave out cd's but I ran out. Anyone who didnt get want ant want one just send me an email. MY group that went to The Nashville Palace, we took a group pic. Anyone who wants a copy please let me know. I got to Two Step with several of the ladies, and got to slow dance with Meme( I was in Heaven). Its too bad it was over too soon. Lets do it again sometime

Well Labor Day weekend is almost upon us, so you know what that menas. Its time for the Nashville Bash. To all my friends, that I have been chatting with all these months, I can hardly wait to meet you, after all this time. To those you arent able to attend, Im sure that those of us that will be here, will take lots of pics!!! I cant wait to hug all you lovely ladies. See ya here!!!!!

Well, it has come to my attetion, that I needed to update my profile. SO I went and did some mild tweeking so to speak. I still need to get you ladies some current phots, but I am working on that. Pleae let me know what you think.

As most people here know, i am fast coming up on the first anniversary of my wife's passing. I have already made plans, to spend July 24th-26th with my beloved step-daughters. I couldnt have better kids if they were my own. I know that if I werent with them, I wouold probably spend that time, just curled up in the fetal postion. As it already is, I cant stand, to think, that she has been out of my life, for almost a year. As most people will say, what my wife and I had was very rare. I miss her more than ever, every day. Sometimes, i dont know how I able to wake up without her day after day. She brought true meaning to the word Love...when she came into my life. I just want this annivesary to go by quickly, as I dont know if I can take it.
