Working as an entertainer ....

Working as an stage dancer/entertainer is harder then most people know. A person with multiple skills, talents and most of all " a can do will do anything" at tit ude, may find work. Dancing, acting and physical training is a must. Performer make work all their lives for just one show or performance. Vegas has so many long running shows, that each roll or position is played by several different people most of the time. Hotel owners and show directors want their shows to be larger then life. So the entertainers must come on stage and wow the crowd presents.
I started out as a model at the age of 14 not making any money at it. I did kids cloth ads for the local stores. My mother put me in dance and modeling classes which I enjoyed. Mom did want me to like what I was doing, unlike many girls and boys that were forced to go. I didn't go very many modeling compe tit ions. If I wanted to go Mom took me. At the age of 16 I had my first agent Tommy Reed, who is still my close friend. I didn't get alot of work and beside at 16 I decided boys were cute overnight ( I was a late bloomer with boys.) Mom let me decide if I would model more or not, which Tommy got upset over. At 18 I was getting alot of work, I guess my look is what they wanted. ( I say alot of work, but the pay was like a 75 dollars for 4 hours of photo shooting.) Then I got a call to model/ dance in Robert Palmers music video. After us girls saw the tape of us dancing and pretending to play those instrument, we thought the pubic wouldn't buy it at all. Well they did and we had a good gig for a couple of years. The down side was, we partied, drank and did drug s to often. We liked the lifestyle and the money was pretty good. I worked with the band off and on for 4 years and toured for 6 months. Mom knew I was getting into problem, so she help me and we moved to Las Vegas. We both got work in less than 2 months I was just 21. I got a bartending job, and they loved me. Mom worked for a hotel salon doing make-up. I went to casting calls that I read in the newpaper. It seem like in no time I started working in the hotel shows. My first show was Diva's of Playboy, I wasn't in the show, I was the seating bunny that wore the Playboy getup. As time went on I got my name out and got better work. The last big shows I did were Zumanity at New York – New York.,Jubilee Bally’s, O Cirque du Soleil at Bellagio, X Burlesque at the Flamingo, Crazy Girl at the Riviera, Folies Bergere , (I loved this one), Spamalot at the Wynn, Devil’s Diva’s

All that I'm living for,
All that I'm dying for,
All that I can't ignore alone at night.

I can feel the night beginning.
Separate me from the living.
Understanding me,
After all I've seen.
Piecing every thought together,
Find the words to make me better.
If I only knew how to pull myself apart.

All that I'm living for,
All that I'm dying for,
All that I can't ignore alone at night.
All that I'm wanted for,
Although I wanted more.
Lock the last open door, my ghosts are gaining on me.

I believe that dreams are sacred.
Take my darkest fears and play them
Like a lullaby,
Like a reason why,
Like a play of my obsessions,
Make me understand the lesson,
So I'll find myself,
So I won't be lost again.

All that I'm living for,
All that I'm dying for,
All that I can't ignore alone at night.
All that I'm wanted for,
Although I wanted more.
Lock the last open door, my ghosts are gaining on me.

Guess I thought I'd have to change the world to make you see me,
To be the one.
I could have run forever,
But how far would I have come
Without mourning your love?

All that I'm living for,
All that I'm dying for,
All that I can't ignore alone at night.
All that I'm wanted for,
Although I wanted more.
Lock the last open door, my ghosts are gaining on me.

Should it hurt to love you?
Should I feel like I do?
Should I lock the last open door,
My ghosts are gaining on me.

I can't sleep and thought I would play with my camera. I know I know my pictures are showing to much skin. But what the hell! I think they are in good taste. I enjoy being a woman of 40, I feared turning 40 for along time. Men still seem to treat me the same. Even the young ones give me a eye every so often. I just smile and or laugh.

Actually I think it is a woman's world. Men are just here to entertain us and from time to time drive us women crazy. What do you think?

It is so quiet at 3AM here. I am typing by candle light. I love soft light, it feels so warm. I see there are 26 people chatting. Maybe I take a look see who is there. What do you think friends or lovers at this hour? Or people from over seas?

Please make a comment about my pictures, but if you can't be nice don't type!

Still on vacation and wondering why ..... Aug 7, 2008 10:30 am

My girlfriends and I are loving San Diego. We went to Aubergine nightclub last night.

Anyways, I whole heartedly believe that if you want to be elected president of the United States you need the following.

1. Fairly smart / bright, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

2. Amazingly great salesperson.

3. Have big money or sell rich people to back you.

4. Pick about 15 issues that the U.S. media talk about or cover heavily. Have a plan or answer that you have rehearsed just like an actor for a play. Make sure you repeat the very same word for word answer everytime. EVEN IF YOU NEVER NEVER PLAN TO DO ONE WORD OF IT AFTER YOU ARE ELECTED. The pubic buy into candidates that never never change their answers. If they do it become a sign of weakness.

5. Repeat after me " I never inhaled".

6. " " I never had sex with that person."

7. Start early, be a Brownie or Boyscout. America loves people in uniform. People will believe you were already a leader even if you never got one badge. Even if you only went to one meeting.

8.Smile non-stop, people love that.

9.Kissing, holding babies still works. People think your a family person then.

10.Lying is OK as a politician, the pubic expects you to. So be a honest lair, never never tell anyone you lied.

Just my thoughts, but this does up set me that America doesn't get a better person to run or at lease guide us. The world is watching and many of them want us to have a good leader.

Most of my friends from other countries say the same thing about the U.S.A. and that is this. The U.S. has many great ideas, but why does your government force their ideas on to the world.

Are my friends wrong?

Voting this November is going to be the “Lesser Of Two Devils”. Aug 6, 2008 9:10 am
Mood: 95, 366 Views
I am on vacation on the beach in San Diego California. I have tons of time to lay out and read. So…….

I really don’t care if our president is man or woman, white, black, brown, yellow or purple. It is my belief that America stands really for one thing, the freedom to have human rights. America is a place where all immigrants can make a better life. Well, aren’t we (Americans) all born from immigrants really? Don’t we still pay the America Indian’s to be here? Which makes us just renters right. Or did America’s corporations make us a better deal with the Indian’s that we don’t know about. Isn’t there an Indian casino in every state in the union?
I often get so mad over how big business totally runs the country and not the people. Sure I have made lots of money in the stock market running with many companies. But corporate greed/ profits need to be controlled. Corporations throughout time have searched the world for cheap labor to make their products. What happens when there isn’t any cheap labor left in the world? We already tried slave labor in this country. Now we have an entire race of people that only know they are from a continent where their skin is the same color as people who live there. “Sad”.

So we turn to our politician’s to lead us (Sell us on what we should do next.) Are Americans so gullible, yes we are sadly to say. There are politician like the Bush family that decided the U.S. would become the worlds police force like it or not. (Am I wrong?) I will say I thought George senior did a good job as president and in the gulf war. George junior plainly speaking sucks. Why do I feel like Jr. had to prove to daddy that. “Dad you didn’t finish the job in the middle east but I will.”
I also feel that we (U.S.) and the world are paying higher fuel cost for two reasons. One so Bush can say, “See the U.S. did not get the benefit of Iraq oil or the money from it.” (Actually China bought up rights to most of the oil.) The second reason why Bush has not done one thing over high fuel bills is. He is from Texas, where most big oil companies are based. Need I say more!

I watched an ad for McCain on the TV, his people should have thought longer on this one. In politics, a gaffe is when you accidentally reveal what you really think. In a press release last Friday, the McCain campaign unveiled a TV ad that is intended to reach Latino voters by honoring their contributions to the United States but that instead commits a telling gaffe by reminding "us" that God loves "them" too. So let's from time to time remember that these are God's children.

Jesse Jackson gaffed away on TV (I hate him, loser, free-loader in Gods good names he acts, right!). I feel he doesn’t help black people one bit, but just lives the high life off of them. He may be mad at Barack Obama for "talking down to black folks" -- but at least he never referred to blacks as "them" or demeaningly reminded a primarily white audience that blacks are "God's children too.

In the past I have normally voted Republican, but the Democrats are more for the common folk and that is a good thing. I feel the Republican Party who are made up of mostly white Anglo –Saxons, which are conservatives by nature have not given us a good candidate this time. Having said all of this the two party system doesn’t work.

I don't think McCain's a racist per se; I see him as a cultural chauvinist, not an ethnic one. But by running this ad, McCain and his handlers are revealing that they're not even aware of how demeaning, and dangerous, that subtle division of America into "us" and "them" really is. McCain's new ad tells us that he believes there are two Americas -- and that while he feels kindly toward the Latino America, it's not his true constituency.

But even more significant is that McCain seems to see Latinos (all of whom, apparently, he believes to be immigrants) in terms of what the poet of the British Empire, Rudyard Kipling, called "The White Man's Burden."
Kipling's poem of the same name was written a little over a century ago, in the aftermath of the Spanish-American War, a war McCain and his Iraq adviser Joe Lieberman would do well to read about today. The U.S. had conquered the Spanish colony of the Philippines with relatively few casualties -- but was completely unprepared for the native insurgency that followed. Filipino guerrillas seeking independence killed more than 4,000 American troops, to the dismay of the American public, which had been told by an overconfident Administration and a criminally cooperative press that the war would be over quickly and that U.S. troops would be greeted by the Filipinos as liberators. Kipling, a fan of Empire, urged President Teddy Roosevelt not to end the occupation, saying that respecting Filipinos' requests for "freedom" would be a cave-in to "terror" and unfair to the heathen, wild, sullen, "half-devil and half-child" brown people America had "captured." It reads in part:

Take up the White Man's burden--
Send forth the best ye breed--
Go bind your sons to exile
To serve your captives' need;
To wait in heavy harness,
On fluttered folk and wild--
Your new-caught, sullen peoples,
Half-devil and half-child.
Take up the White Man's burden--
In patience to abide,
To veil the threat of terror
And check the show of pride;
By open speech and simple,
An hundred times made plain
To seek another's profit,
And work another's gain....

What does Iraq have to do with McCain's views about Latinos? A couple of things. One is that, as most Latinos know and most Anglos do not, the history of American Latinos is the history of America's sporadic, disastrous attempts to become an empire. The Spanish-American War, for example, began with exactly the kind of government propaganda, secret political and economic agendas, and yellow journalism that misled us into Iraq -- and resulted in America's acquisition, in addition to Guam and the Philippines, of the Hispanic territories of Puerto Rico and the naval base at Guantanamo Bay. In other words, as America's Puerto Rican and Cuban Latinos are well aware, America's efforts to expand its political and economic empire in 1898 led precisely to the kind of century-long occupations McCain considers acceptable in the Middle East today. Some Latinos consider America's domination of Puerto Rico and Guantanamo a blessing; some consider it a curse; but nearly all are conscious of the impacts America's past dreams of Empire have had on their community.

It's a courageous, self-sacrificing and benevolent view. And it leads down a bloody, endless road that America, like England before us, has been down before, and should not willingly start down again.
Sorry to be so long winded, but damn I have no idea who to vote for. I get pissed off when I read much of this stuff. I believe the most intelligence people that should be running for president are to smart to run. What are your thoughts?

A View Out My Door. Jul 23, 2008 9:36 am

Hello everyone!!

I thought I would post something that I enjoy doing. Some of you may know I love taking pictures and not just of myself. Photography has always amazed me and the things the human eye can see. Colors and lighting, how black and white photos have so much depth.

In says this I posted a photo of me standing in front of my open side door of the ranch. One cool thing about living here is every door and window is a post card view here. I hope this photo is big enough and clear enough for everyone to see. I played with the lighting.

I hope others will post pictures of their views through their windows and doors. Show us what you see everyday or what interest you. Our surroundings make us who we are.

Happy photos to all,

Krissie

Responding to... An Observation of Provocative Photos Jul 17, 2008 11:25 am

I wasn't going to respond to Mr.NiceGuy's blog in fears of just stiring people up again. But here I am doing it anyways. First, Mr.NiceGuy is a great guy from what I can tell on here and from his writings. His blog was right now I feel.

I decided not to post as much or as often. I came to this site only to do one thing. Make new friends, men and women. NO OTHER REASON and Brad was right I thought people would like to know me better. So I posted pictures of my personality. Like any person we have different moods and traits, that make us who we are. It is true like many/ most women I enjoy showing my sexy side. But does that make me cheap or easy. I feel not at all. I don't want a man to think that I am easy, but fun to flirt with. I do work hard ( like most women) to look good most of the time.

Note to any man that reads this far down:

If you like me, write me. If you want fast sex or want to drool over my pic's. You can write me but, keep your pocket rocket to your self. You are going to crash and burn fast with me.

Side note, Friend Finder right? Isn't that where we are? Senior to me means " wise one" and older person with more life skills.

I added my Senior photo, ain't I a hottie?

Hello ladies and gentlemen, friends, flirts, bloggers, cloggers and hopefully hot guys wanting to spend hours amazed by my many talents.

I get emails from mostly nice guys and sometimes funny ones too. After reading one profile of a guy and having my mouth hit the floor, I thought I would add my talent. His email statement to me as is follows. "I can barely balance my large canon (weapon of choice)as it is ready to blow at the sight of your beauty. Can't we meet for dinner to mull over our sexual skills." This was his second email to me. (He used my comment " weapon of choice" from one of my profile pictures.)

Sorry buddy, but rulers here on S.F.F forbid me to show off my sexual talents in the first two emails ( I never wrote him at all yet.)

Oh my god buddy, I too can balance a Canon as my powerful tongue works as a balancing bar.

Well I filled out surverys and list and list of things about myself. ( On S.F.F. I fill them out and they disappear.)But everything said and done a man telling me about his sexual skills in email is a turn off. I know some think I am cheap and easy. Well I'm not! I don't kisss on first dates or probability not happenin on the second either.( But watchout on the third, I'm jumpin your bones! Just kidding.)

Enjoy me for me first, I ain't a bad chick ( Well not all the time.)

Anyways I thought I would share this.

Forgive Me One So Wise

Can you forgive me again?
I don't know what I said
But I didn't mean to hurt you

I heard the words come out
I felt that I would die
It hurt so much to hurt you

Then you look at me
You're not shouting anymore
You're silently broken

I'd give anything now
to kill those words for you

Each time I say something I regret I cry "I don't want to lose you."
But somehow I know that you will never leave me, yeah.

'Cause you were made for me
Somehow I'll make you see
How happy you make me

I can't live this life
Without you by my side
I need you to survive

So stay with me
You look in my eyes and I'm screaming inside that I'm sorry.

And you forgive me again
You're my one true friend
And I never meant to hurt you

One So Wise

I am not here to up set you nor am I here to steal someones unfound lover. I enjoy the company of older people. Other sites are about sex,sex parties, multitudes of lovers, not making real friends. I may not be a senior as you see it. I am not trying to fit that mold you have made for others. I respect your comments and your rights to make them. I will not make this my judgement of you or your friends. I am what I am and not what you make me into. I am here to make new friends, if that leads to more so be it. I have feelings and needs, just like you. If my age or looks are what upsets you I can't help that. If S.F.F. wants me to leave or you want to beat me with your words. I will leave in good time. I tire of this " You're to young to be here game!" I could fight you or stand up to you , but why. Women like you line up to play your role with me. I could win ,but why. I won't throw stones at you or will I ask others to.

I am sorry I invaded your private island, your fantasy of the aged, your discount on the menu. ( Sorry I get carried away.) Lighten up ! You could just not read my stuff. Iggy me for life. I promise not to park in your handcaped spot or give your wheel chair a flat. But if your go 45 in the fast lane I'm passin your ass.

I am what I am.

Profile word thieves... Jul 1, 2008 11:28 am
Mood: paparazzi, 757 Views
Shhhh... I am hiding out... careful they may spot me. Who you ask? Those profile thieves. I guess my words are worth something on the black market. My profile had my words stolen and someone added some words that are not mine. Either that or my S.F.F. membership is over, passdue or they just want me to shut-up. My picture is on the most unwanted list at the post-office also. I am guilty of hunting down men and making them be my friends. ( oh my) Furthermore, I have blocked little old ladies from having a man to call their own.( I'm so bad!) I chased down someones boyfrend and make him my slave. ( Put me in jail and throw away the key.)

Oh my, the paparazzi are circling, FLASH FLASH.. I must goo now... keep in touch...
