Our rainbows seen we'd know the score
Perchance we knew what things were for
Across the skies in colours bright
The signs of peace and love and light
Phenomenal all things that are
Be they the earth, the moon, the star
The ocean wide, the grain of sand
Each thing in place as it was planned
The Universe that holds the key
Whereas all things for us to see
The rainbow's arc but one of those
As knows the one that truly knows

A Chorus Of Trees

There are trees galore on this forest floor
but there's also something wrong
in a feeling had that I find so sad
and the feeling's just too strong.
I can't verbalize but my teary eyes
have a way to make it clear
and the way I feel has the stern appeal
that there's something missing here.
As I watch them sway in the weirdest way
there's a chorus from those trees
while the wind that blows is a thing that knows
as it carries off their pleas.
There's a smog that's thick and those trees are sick
and they're dying to be heard
and perhaps I'm sad for the chance I've had
as to hear their final word.

belying the silence
To say time does not exist
is to overlook the seed
and the vibration
where silence is no more

In the giving hand is the Promised Land
As it’s brought into this sphere
And it goes to show how we’re made to grow
And that Eden still is here
In the giving mind as we give we find
What the heavens have in store
So the lesson then is to give again
And the next time even more
In the giving heart all the waters part
For the faith that we possess
So the lesson there is there’s much to spare
So we give and nothing less
In the giving soul are the pictures whole
That the heavens have decreed
And those heavens will that we have our fill
And that fill is what we feed

Expect the worst it's sure a bet
for what you wish is what you get
but then reverse the thoughts instilled
and walk away with what you've willed
It's you alone decides the call
applied to things and overall
and comes a time as you will learn
the work you do's the wage you earn
You miss the moon but there you are
you're still to land upon a star
no limits known whereas the sky
so dare my friend to aim that high

The universe now says in verse

Your castles in the air
For love you see has come to be

Through an anxious night he’d awaited light
Where the sun could spur him on
But he heard the rain on his windowpane
And he faced a different dawn
Came the sudden storm and it said conform
And adjust to what’s at hand
Thus his heart was chilled and his eyes were filled
For the loss of what he’d planned
On that blessèd bed where you lay your head
Came a cooing sound so soft
That an angel spoke and it made a joke
Of the birds that were aloft
And he understood as you knew he would
There was silver up above
While the cloud was dark there was yet that spark
And its very name was love
Yes that spark was there he could see the flare
Then the sun came shining through
Gone the pounding rain from his windowpane
It had stopped because of you
