The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert.
After they got their tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep. Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, 'Kimosabe, look towards sky; what you see?'
The Lone Ranger replies, 'I see millions of stars.' What that tell you?' asked Tonto.
The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute then says, Astronomically speaking, it tells me there are millions of galaxies. Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three in the morning. Theologically, the Lord is all powerful, and we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.
What does it tell you,Tonto?'
'You dumber than buffalo-shit. Someone stole tent.'

So what did they do last night???? C'mon now, someone was brave enough to report them, did I miss something? I was in chat most of the night with both of them...they didn't do anything different than anyone else was doing. If it was so bad post it here so we can all see how offensive they were...cuz I musta missed it, I was just enjoying chatting with them too much I think!
Better yet get everyone banned, then you can have the room all to yourself and your 15 different handles.

The Monkey's point of view

This is an old poem, I don't know who the author of it is, been trying to find that out. But it's a great one!
[Image}
Three monkeys sat in a coconut tree, Discussing things as they’re said to be. Said one to the others, “Now listen, you two, There’s a certain rumor that can’t be true – That man descended from our noble race. The very idea is a big disgrace.
“No monkey ever deserted his wife, Starved her babies and ruined her life, And you’ve never known a mother monk, To leave her babies with others to bunk. Or to pass them on from one another ‘Till they scarcely know who is their mother.
“And another thing, you’ll never see, A monk build a fence ‘round a coconut tree, And let the coconuts go to waste, Forbidding all other monks to taste. Why, if I’d put a fence around a tree, Starvation would force you to steal from me.
“Here’s another thing a monk won’t do – Get out at night and get on a stew. Or use a gun or a club or a knife, To take some other monkey’s life. Yes, man descended, the ornery cuss, But brothers, he didn’t descend from us!”

Last night, my son stated that he wanted to go to church today. He's been attending the youth group meetings during the week but I haven't been able to get him to church, and I've been kinda awol from there too.
I awoke to about a foot of snow outside, and thought, do I really want to drive in this today??? Thought about telling my son no way. But I've been on this emotional rollercoaster ( thanks perimenopause! ) for the past month or two and I had a strong feeling that attending a service might do me some good.
I was kind of nasty to someone, angry, and acted out of that anger in an unkind way. Actually was kind of nasty to a couple of people ( sorry my kfalls friend ) Not me at all. So, yeah I needed to get out and do something positive, and even ask the Lord's forgiveness for my actions and humble myself before HIM.
Knocked the snow off the suzuki...and braved the snowstorm. God was quick to bring me to my knees...what is the point of ice anyway..in the church parking lot..haahaahaa..oops! OK wasn't hurt, He blessed me with lots of padding.
I got lots of hellos and hugs wich unbeknownst to me was something I was desperately in need of, then listening to the service as well and worship was a real spirit lifter. I'm so glad I went!
My son and I went to a place to eat afterward. We don't spend much time together, he's 16, popular and always at a friend's house. So it was nice to sit and talk for an hour. We watched as the light snowfall turned into a complete whiteout out the restaraunt windows. I didn't want to brave THAT to get home and it was nice not to feel hurried, infact I felt the opposite! Finally the snow lifted a bit to a light dusting and we paid our ticket and came home.
