I have a friend that I play on line games with. Our favorite is the point and click escape the room games and Super Sneaky Spy Guy games. These are usually games where we have to find items, and solve puzzles which take us to another room, looking for keys and jewels and codes. We are two spy guy gals out to solve one puzzle after another.

She and I began to IM back and forth a couple of years ago on occasion and then one day we discovered we both were set up on an application called Skype where we could phone through the computer and talk to each other. We would then find a game to play and ever since we've been off and running.

It's been fun. We have shared our personal life and gained, at least I feel, a trust with each other.

Sometimes, when the evening is quiet, and I'm sitting here at my computer with nothing much to do, she'll pop up on my screen "are you there?" and I think "how did she know I was itching for a point and click game?"

To people who pooh pooh making friends over the internet, I say "you just don't know what you are missing."
