Lazy Saturday...

It's a lazy Saturday here .. all gray outside and Rain showers every little bit. I saw on the news we had some major flooding down town and in one of the suburbs of Olive Branch, Mississippi which is just a hoop and a holler away from me..lol.
I had a Man stop by here yesterday and said he needed to make an appointment with me for next week.. He was from "SENIOR SOLUTIONS" and says he is going to explain my Medicare to me.. have any of you heard of this before?? I would appreciate someone explaining it but was kind of shocked he came to the house. Will call medicare Monday, He is to come back Tuesday.
My Youngest daughter is unemployed as of last Monday.. I am praying every night she finds something soon. She worked Hospice and was very good at it but they wanted to add more counties on to her and another office since the lady quit in Dyersburg..if they would have given her gas milage she probably would have stayed but there just was no way she could afford to drive that far away plus do all her 7 counties. She had a hard time leaving them because she has become so attached to so many families..but she just could not afford to work there. I wonder what they will do now.. they have 2 that have left!! I think she is going to go back to nursing home she loved working with the patients so much. Say a little Prayer for her and her children that Mom finds a job quickly!! She is a very motivated person... and she trust in the Lord to help her through.
I know Leeroy49 is my Ex-husband ..but I still care what happens to him and I would appreciate a Prayer for him on Oct1,when he has knee surgery. I
Well I heard my stomach growl ..could that be because I skipped breakfast and it's past Lunch time??? LOL.. I hope all that read this stay safe and BE HAPPY!! (((hugs))) TO ALL THAT ARE STILL MY FRIENDS... MARY

It's raining, it's pouring the old man is snoring.. Or is that thunder I am hearing..yep it's thunder...lol. We have needed rain for so long now ..lol.. and here it is 2 days so far and weather man says 5 more coming.."When it rains it pours..or so they say..whoever "THEY" are. I guess we still need it but strange how it comes after you needed it to keep the garden and flowers all lookin good. I did water everyday and it helped, but there is nothin like good ol rain water to keep plants growin and lookin good! Here it is Fall.. I will miss all my Morning Glories.. they sure were pretty. I have a few Mums..and will try to get my new flower bed ready..so I can put in bulbs for spring. Just can't wait for spring and all my Iris to bloom again!!!!!
I have just got to remember to start doing this Photo Friday thing... I think about it on Saturday... Guess I'm just one of those "Day Late and A Dollar Short People". I am going to be watchin to see what this Friday's Picture is and see if I have one I can share... Yep I am!!!! Well off to dream land I go.. got a doctors appointment very early tomorrow so Good night ..Sleep tight...Mary

I went out on the deck this morning with "The Boys" for their morning pee-pee break on any flower they can get near, I have a big yard but I guess Mom's Flower Bed is so much more inviting. ...lol. The leaves are everywhere. They are turning on the trees so fast. My Beloved Morning Glory have almost all Yellow leaves..DARN!! I have really enjoyed my yard this summer. Looking forward to transplanting my Iris and my lillies. Have to decide where I want them first..lol. Iris is my favorite flower. They just don't bloom long enough..lol. Got any extra Iris bulbs you don't want..I'll be glad to have them...lol. The prettiest one I think I had I forgot when I moved from Wisconsin. A very nice neighbor let me dig a couple up out of her yard ..they are so pretty. But of course my favorite ones are the old fashion ones ..little and almost see through that Mama sent me out of her garden . I am going to try to add a picture of my prettiest one on here.
Are you ready for Fall??? I always hate to see Summer end..but I do enjoy the change of seasons. Some people aren't that lucky. Like one of my friends said in a e-mail yesterday... "I am ready for snow...where ever I have to go to see it". Not me...I had plenty of Snow when I was in Wisconsin and plenty of shoveling. If I had a snow blower it would have been a bit easier!! He has one now so He should be all set. I am sure we will have some snow we usually have one fair snow here in Tennessee and one light snow in February. That's plenty for me...lol. I will admit it is beautiful, but I'm just too darn old to shovel...lol...lol Well enough idle chatter... Have a Great day..where ever you are...Oh and 'GO GREEN BAY" I love them PACKERS!!!!! Yes I have two fellas in my life. Caring and sharing, always sweet and understanding. Who could ask for more? Sure each one tries for my full attention sometimes ..but it's always been the male way hasn't it? They are both always happy to see me, never make me cry..kiss away my tears when I do. Love me as I am..will go anywhere with me no matter how I look. LIFE IS GOOD WITH BOTH. They are friends till the end. How Blessed I am to have them in my life.
Am going to try to post their picture on here... I dearly LOVE both of them.... Mary

What a beautiful day it was today. I had the "I just don't wanna do anythings" today.. kinda blah!! So My daughter and Granddaughter decided we should get out and roam. And that we did.. We hit a couple yard sales, visited with a couple people, stopped and ate a bite and popped in at Goodwill. I got a candle and a cute M&M Antenna topper (the child in me showing) the GREEN one of course...lol. I will say they had quite a few laughs on me...Hmmmm ..just because I turned left when they said right (it was my other Right) and I backed out in the street when they thought I should have done something else??? Hmmm not sure what I did there... they sure were laughing like something funny happened.. oh well..! We ended our Roaming stopping off at my First daughters house for a few minutes...then on home. My hearing is not what it once was ..so I think I said something funny or did something funny because they erupted into laughter once again... at which point I thretened to put them both out of the truck..
It's kinda CQQL to be mama/Granny that makes folks laugh... Now if I only knew what I did to make them have soooo much fun???????

Well I can remember when that was a big thing for me..Friday meant payday..not now. I am RETIRED. Boy do I miss Friday !! Getting paid once a month is hard!! But of course what is even harder is living on this little tiny check. I am sure all of the folks that know me know I am divorced and back home in Tennessee and trying to survive on Social Security. I have been everywhere trying to find a part time job...never had a problem before but things are differant now..!! Oh and I am differant now...lol. I am 65 and even though I think young I guess I can't fake it with my looks...lol.. I look 65. Stress has taken it's toll.
But enough of that.. I am going to have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE ... I am alive and things will work out..somehow.
Today I went back looking for a special blog I wrote and found it to send to a friend. I was reading a few of my old blogs ... gee I wrote all the time back then... so I made two decisions..1) I am going to write more often ..I enjoy it and it helps moving on with my life... and...2) I need to print out my blogs and save them for a day when I am not around and my kids might need to read them every once in a while...lol.. besides I was enjoying reading my past. So... how is your Friday going ????

Monday...always heard of Blue Monday

Well now I know what that means!! Monday I had a plan. I needed to finish push mowing and trim some limbs that got too much wind. I got mu little cart and Push mower out and headed for the front yard.
What a perfect day it was..COOL and sunny and all was going good. Did I say WAS. Oh yea..Was. lol. It's kinda funny how things slip up on you when you Least expect it!! I just finiched the spots you can't get to with the riding mower and decided to do the strip between me and my neighbor that I always end up doing...This Is the plsce.... I will NEVER forget.. Almost done and suddenly I was covered with BEES...you know the kind that live in the ground. !!! Oh the pain... I was running and swatting Can you just see my Fat butt running up thet hill acting like a maniac???? It is funny sort of now...BUT ... those little suckers are MEAN!!!!! I SWEAR THEY HURT MUCH WORSE THAN A REGULAR BEE . I love being out in the yard so I have been stung before...just not so many times..My hands, my arms, the top of my head, my legs,and even my Belly !!! I took a double dose of Benadryl just in case...I am not allergic but never had this many stings at one time before. Didn't want to take any chances...lol. So here I sit... ITCHING!!!! I pulled out all the stingers... I now have big red blotches all over me and am sleeping like a baby from all this Benadryl...lol.
I was tempted to go pour gas in the hole they are in but darn I'm scared they will come out and get me again!!!! Any ideas anyone... I have looked at the hole in the ground FROM A DISTNCE.,..YA KNOW and they are flying in and out of it... so many of them and even some smaller ones... I cringe when I think about them...lol
So BLUE MONDAY it was .. and no I didn't work in the yard after that.. I couldn't ....hurt too bad!!! Now I know why people hate Mondays...lol

What a wonderful day today is.. I am so excited I have to share with my FRIENDS!! Today I witnessed one of Gods many miracles first hand.. I almost can't type I am so tickled!! I have a wonderful spot in my yard I call "MY SPACE" My oldest daughter had it made for me for Mother's Day/ Birthday...I sit out there every morning. This morning it has rained..I was pulling weeds and decided to shake the Hummingbird feeder so it wasn't just rain water when they came to feed. I watch them every morning... As I put my hand on the feeder I heard the wings flapping in my ear..This BEAUTIFUL sweet little bird landed on my shoulder..and just sat there and as he did another one landed on my finger...you can almost not feel their tiny feet. I stood frozen , afraid to move not wanting them to leave me. How beautiful they are and not afraid of me. I don't have words for how SPECIAL I felt at that moment...but I just had to say..out loud..."THANK YOU LORD for this blessing!!! Sometimes Happiness and contentment can come in the strangest places... I had to put this right here so EVERYONE could see it..did not want one person to miss it!!! (((HUGS))) Mary
