I was going to wait and put "My Very Favorite Doll" on much later.. but as I looked up and saw her I decided it was time to see what you think of her.
I got her last year at a Antique store here in Tennessee. I saw her in a booth that was closing and had everything marked down. She was in a corner in her box closed up. The minute I opened it I LOVED Her. She is supposed to be a girl from the 50's going on a date. Her box is in my attic so I can't tell you word for word. I can tell you her name...lol "MARY LOU" and my name is "MARY LOU". you know she stole my HEART...

First I have to say .. OH NO IT'S RAINING AGAIN..! I got up at 7am and looked out and couldn't believe my eyes..RAIN AGAIN.. I hope we don't have another 20 some odd days in a row again..! My yard was starting to get dry again.. DARN..!
Well today I wanted to show you something I have kept for my Daughter..lol. This is her Ronald McDonald Doll..I just couldn't let her get rid of it..You squeeze his belly and he will blow a whistle. I can't remember exactly how old she was when she got him..I thunk Preschool..She is 36 now.

O.K... I couldn't believe my daughter got me up at 5:30am... "Come on Mom ..Let's go to yard sales". O.K. .. I drug myself out of bed..got dressed and picked her and my Granddaughter up and off we went. It's been so long since we have been able to do this..the weather has been so darn wet! I think everyone has been waiting for this beautiful weekend. We went to soooooo many sales. I got a BRAND NEW comforter set..in the bag from Dillard's for $5.00 King size.. I was so excited..I love it. My daughter got a Brand new set ..in the original bag with price tag of $230.00 for $3.00 Queen size. That was one of the greatest sales... I only got a couple little things besides that.. She got several great items. We both got a couple picture frames at one sale It was just too much fun.
We also went to eat lunch together.. At Burger King... gotta eat there now.. My Man.."TONY STEWART" goes there...lol. Go #14.. Love my Nascar...lol. Been a while since I have had a WOPPER.. now that little ditty .. "It takes two hands to handle a Whopper..the two fisted Burger from Burger King" keeps running through my head...lol.
Well I didn't find any Dolls to add to my collection..so you just have to suffer with a picture of some I already have...lol. I hope EVERYONE enjoyed their Saturday as much as I did. Wonder what tomorrow will bring..???? ((HUGS)) to all.. Mary Lou (or should I say..The Real Mary Lou) ..lol

First I couldn't find one picture that went by the PHOTO rules, you know that I personally took.. then I found two.. so here is my second one..My Oldest Daughter Lou Anne on her Harley. I told her she needs to let me have it so I can be a "Harley Mama"...lol
