The season for shopping and eating and kids wishing and dreaming of Santa Claus. But actually ... "Jesus is the Reason for the Season" so I sent a lot of my friends a really cute little forward about "JESUS IS BETTER THAN SANTA..because". I am sure many of you enjoyed it and passed it on as did the person that sent it to me. I appreciated it very much and liked it so I sent it on. Today I got a letter from someone I think of as a Very good Friend ..and He went into great detail about how he didn't care for it and about how we should not use it as a Holiday.. oh don't get me wrong.. he is a firm believer in God. He just didn't like us making it a Holiday. Fine.. but I just thought it was a nice thing to send.. and now he thinks it is testing our friendship... So that is how my day started .. how about yours...??
This is the hardest time of year for me ..and with losing Mama and getting DIVORCED this year it is even harder..!No I am not happy about the divorce.. it hurt me beyond what words could ever say. No I didn't want a divorce.. I wanted to talk it out. So I know in time I will get better .. in time I will find a way to mend my heart (The duct tape didn't work). But now I am hearing about my replacement.. sooo it is gonna be a really hard Christmas. Please say an extra little Prayer for me that I might find some joy in the season.. I wish all of you lots of fun and happiness this whole next month of Holiday. May God and Santa bring you all your Christmas Wishes.. ((HUGS)) to all my Loving Friends... Mary

I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.
But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp–
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.
There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice.
Herb, who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,

I nudged Jesus, 'What's the deal?

My middle daughter has 2 small children ages 6 years and 1 year and she really decorates for Holidays with those "BLOW UP'S". This is my youngest grand and her favorite one in my daughters front yard...

I am so happy for everyone that is able to go to the St Pete bash. I went to the last one in Clearwater. That was my first and only time to go to Florida. I wish I had more time to spend sight seeing. I will probably never be able to go again..but at least I had one visit there. Anyway I am so looking forward to seeing the pictures of everyone.
It's Raining here again today.. darn Rain ..Rain .. go away...lol. We have a sunny day once in a while but not enough for the ground to dry. My yard is MUDDY.. and I hate it. I need to get my new flower bed done so I can plant my bulbs but the weather just won't act right..!! I need some kind of bushes that grow berries for the birds to eat in the winter. I miss working in the yard. Today I actually trimed up some trees in the rain. I can't even rake leaves.. it's too wet..!
So what are you gonna do for Halloween?? I have an invite to a party... but think I will see how the weather is first. I could also go to my daughgters and help take the grands Trick or treating..still depends on the weather. Weather man says RAIN..hmmm. Might stay home and watch a movie...lol.
What ever you do this weekend I hope you have lots of fun. Life is too short to be any other way... (((HUGS))) to all my friends... Mary

It took me several tries to get this picture... LOL.. when he saw that GIANT bug he started telling me we had to go ...NOW...LOL. This was a exhibit of bugs and they made their natural sounds...lol.. and were moving... yep I had to carry him through most of this .. there were many bugs...lol. I still get tickled at these pictures ..Oh he is 18 now...he was 4 here..lol

Well I looked through a lot of my pictures and was dissapointed with the few funny (to me) things I have. In changing over computers I realize I lost many pictures..well here is a try at funny. I took this as My boys and my daughters pup Chika were playing with a toy...lol.. it was funnyshe is so tiny and so tough...lol. I was surprised when I saw it...what a weird look ..Hope you enjoy it..

It's almost Halloween.. so many of you will be meetin and greetin each other.. I certainly wish I could be there too. But no such luck..!  Maybe another time. I didn't decorate for Halloween again this year..I am usually like a kid at the holidays and have to pull out all the cute stuff. I seem to have lost the spirit. The last time I decorated was in Wisconsin. My Mom and Dad were married on Halloween... don't you know they got some rassin for that...lol. My only Son-in-law was born on Halloween...and yes he is a TREAT..!! LOVE him like he is mine..!
I do hope everyone has a wonderful time and please take lots of pictures and share them...lol.
We are having cooler temps here.. but we actually had 2 days of sun..!!! Hoping for a few more.. kinda makes you feel better all over seenin that yellow ball in the sky.

I can't believe how cold it is out.. Weather man says it's down to 44 degrees tonight and cooler tomorrow. I think all the wet makes it feel even colder. Yes we are still having rain every day. Makes ya want to just stay in. I got up snifflin and sneezin this morning dug out the Dayquil and it's not helping much..will take Nyquil tonight..lol.
I did have one pleasant surprise this morning..I had one lone Yellow Rose bloom. The Last Rose of Summer I guess. I seem to be doing better .. My Kidney stone is gone..thank heavens... and my Blood pressure is wonderful .. was 107/69 yesterday.. that sure beat the heck out of what it was. Now if I could lose some weight I would be great..! I need a walkin buddy so bad..lol.
Well have you missed my Dolls?? I have plenty more pictures..lol. I sure have enjoyed sharing them with y'all. Think I will slip one in on this blog..for good measure as the old folks say. I hope everyone is healthy and Happy and staying warm where ever you are. Since I won't be seeing that pretty Wisconsin snow I hope Y'all will share your snow pictures with me this winter. Finally the sun is out again

Of course there are some black clouds floating around up there just to remind us what can come at any time...lol
I have been suffering with a Kidney Stone for the last couple days.. last night was horrible.. it seems to have settled down at the moment. I walked all night trying to get some relief...I have had them before the last one sent me to the ER in Wisconsin. I am hoping this one will pass. I have been very lucky to have passed all of them. it's just like LABOR PAIN....OUCH..!!!
I am sure everyone is talking about The Bash right now... I would LOVE to go but can't see any way possible. I know it is a wonderful fun time for all.. Halloween is right around the corner, my how time has flown by. I did go to one Florida bash and enjoyed my self so much it was so much fun seeing friends from everywhere.
Well time to close this.. Pain again... later Friends...oh and here are some Halloween Barbies to look at...lol
