I usually read fiction.... English murder mysteries, and general legal & medical murder mysteries. They take my mind off the current events of the day which I tend to follow fairly closely.

I love your secluded reading room, but I would have to have a chair or lounge of some kind because I could not get up and down off the ground.
Saturday at the flea market, I found a couple of Iris Johansen books that I have not read. I'm half way through one of them already. My preference is mystery fiction.

Yes, it's good to take our minds off the news for a while......My friends and I have made a pact not to mention the orange twit when we get together....have you noticed the CBC only calls him Mr. Trump, never president ?........I've never been much of a fiction reader, though I have enjoyed some.

[I'm sure not graceful getting up and down, that's for sure......LOL...sometimes I really notice how long it takes me......Actually, I've been noticing how long everything takes me......

It's amazing that he can be so succinct writing about such a broad subject.....

Beautiful place for relaxing, for sure.
Times ago I lost the good habit of reading books...I rather do several things in the computer, that keep my mind off from all around me and from my health issue.
Enjoy your sunbathing.
