Nice. It is claimed we can sometimes see the lights down here. I am still waiting to catch a glimpse though.

They appear here very occasionally and they are lovely, but as a child near the Arctic Circle, they were a throbbing, all encompassing reverential experience that still appears in my paintings...........But Stephen Hawking.........I think that the way he expressed himself.....that mechanised voice without the normal characteristics that make our voices unique, gave the haunting impression that his voice was Humanity's voice .....reaching for the stars........describing the indescribable.......

Astounding that such a mind could function within that wasted body.......that thinking became his whole life.......

An great example of never giving up. He could just as easily gone into reclusion, but his determination was beyond admirable. It was rather fitting that he passed away on "pi day", the birthday of another brilliant man.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Stephen Hawking was born on the 300th anniversary of Galileo’s death and died on the same day Albert Einstein was born. They are not just coincidences but also proof of divine intervention.

Stephen Hawking would have told you that coincidence is not "proof". And so would any other scientist or logical thinker.
