Susan Stamper Brown

From an opinion piece in Townhall.........> Why They Hate Him,,,,

"Clear and simple, liberals hate Trump because he beat Hillary Clinton. Period. End of story. They are so overcome by anger and hatred, they fail to realize that until recently, Trump could have been their candidate."

"I say “until recently” because Trump is transitioning…transforming…changing. Prayer works, and Trump’s blanketed…covered with it."

"Another huge factor in this evolution is that with each fake news report or violent riot or piece of leaked information – Trump is becoming less like a liberal and more like Ronald Reagan. Who Trump was during the primaries is not who he is today."

"Liberals can’t handle that this immoral man received a moral mandate to do what is right for America."

"And, by gosh, he’s doing it, despite the snotty-nosed brats who continue to throw tantrums and wet their pants every time Trump takes positive action to restore America to her former greatness."

What is a "Moral Mandate" and where does she get that idea?......Did Trump say that anywhere? A Moral Mandate.....from where? From the electorate> If so,
what in the Ding Dong has Trump done so far that delivers on a Moral Mandate? I assume that it's some daft notion invented by the Evangelicals as yet another way to obscure rational thought.

So the immoral man has transitioned, transforming into a moral man due to the prayers of the Trump Cult membership.......because this sounds like Cult Speak.

I'm trying to put it together, trying to understand the thinking of these people who are still supporting Trump......What they see through their blinkered lens and call reality. So this columnist says that Trump was an immoral man until he became President, or before the election, I'm not sure what the time-line is.......Then his voters prayed for him to become a moral man, they blanketed him in prayer and he transitioned, transformed into the moral man we see before us today.......and somewhere, somehow (not explained) he received a "Moral Mandate to do what is right for America".........What does this gobbledigook mean to his followers?........No one can explain it to me. Bigblock, Maisie, Liszt, Bob, Hank,
I don't know who all.......they think this is normal, self-explanatory......and I'm an ignorant intolerant bigot for questioning the veracity of this declaration. What am I missing?

Do they believe that intercessory prayer can transform a man's psyche without his permission or knowledge? They seem to think that.

It's really quite frightening to observe that this level of magical thinking is seen as normal and questioning it is seen as radical........They live in another reality altogether.........They believe that President Trump is their creation.

They believe that they created President Trump .......Is this cult behaviour? or a Sci-Fi alternate reality?.......Where else is this expressed? Isn't this idea the height of hubris?

I find it excessively odd that a man who has spent decades in academia is puzzled and questions intellectual curiosity...or perhaps, can't recognize it. Why is anyone interested in anything? One wonders why you have this need for me to justify my interests and curiosity and even my knowledge in subjects that you aren't interested in. There are Muslims with PhDs in Theology who specialize in Christian studies......and vice-versa ........Surely you have some experience with knowledge for the sake of knowledge,

As far as my "Atheism" goes......The label is for the benefit of Christians.....not for me.......and Atheism is not a thing.....it is not a set of beliefs or practices.......It is merely a lack of belief in in a God....You have a lack of belief in Allah {presumably).

As for intercessory prayer.........I have no problem with people praying for their President........But this columnist claims that a group of people praying caused a man who they have never even met to transform, to transition from an immoral man to a moral man. That they gave him a Moral Mandate "to do what is right for America.........I'm trying to understand what they think this means.....and why the people who believe it are so reluctant to explain it.........Does it mean that they believe that a group of ordinary Humans can change another person's psyche ( we all know the complexities of the Human psyche) by just asking God to transform them?.......Without their will or knowledge?........Does that mean that a random group of people can decide that I'm an immoral person based on their personal beliefs and get together and pray for me to change and suddenly all the connections in my brain will start to shift and transform and I will become who the prayers want me to be?...........

If this is possible, why aren't there Christians curing mental illness and the immorality of criminals?.......

I applaud you for taking me on, it certainly isn't your duty ........What I was hoping was for a coherent explanation of the words of Susan Stamper Brown by those who defend what she says by calling me an intolerant bigot for not accepting her declarations without question. Like Bigblock, who apparently doesn't know what he believes, but will defend it to the end.

My parents taught me to question everything,.......I didn't know how hard that must have been with 6 children until I became a parent and with the immense gratitude I felt for what my parents believed, I told my children the same thing and now they are passing it on. Question everything.

Apparently, your parents didn't give you that gift, or you would have acquired the habit of thinking. Instead of answering my earnest and specific questions about what you believe , you choose to call me an intolerant bigot for asking a question. Why do you feel so threatened by being asked ?.......Do you just accept Susan's declarations as true because she's on the same "side" as you?..........Instead you post some "study" ........There are also studies that say that women live longer than men, but that doesn't say anything about how long specific people will live.

That is the third time you have quoted Liszt's commentary on Stamper's article that you C+Pd........You may take Liszt's opinion as gold, but it's redundant to the discussion. Yo still haven't said what you think, except point at some people and say"What he/she said" and point at others and say "Not what he/she said".......My curiosity still hasn't even begun to be sated ......You haven't even said if you believe Stamper's Trump Theory of Transformation..........If I knew someone personally who believed this, I would ask them, but, alas, I know no such person who believes this and can also articulate their thoughts.......I suspect that those who accept the Stamper version of reality are the same ones who think that Pray the Gay Away is a plausible way to approach Homosexuality.....

But then, at least in that case, it is accepted that the Homosexual wants to change, gives consent to the praying and participates in it...........

Just for a minute I thought I may get some insights, but, alas, they shut the shop door and closed the blinds as soon as they understood that there was an expectation of of them articulating anything about their thought process beyond "I agree with this" or "I don't agree with that".

I have had this same issue with Bigblock before....He posts other people's outrageously biased hyperbolic OpEds and demands that comments be in line with his expectations........Several times, when I see the extremism of the articles, I do some research on the writer, for obvious reasons........Not obvious to Bigblock apparently. He thinks the only valid response to his postings is to either agree, or, if you disagree, to make a cogent argument challenging the veracity of individual statements. To Bigblock, the previous work of the author isn't a valid topic of discussion......In other instances, I have taken a different tack than he expected, approached an issue from a different angle or direction than the author and this is also invalid in Bigblock's Rules of Conduct.........LOL

He always tells me I'm not contributing to the discussion, which is really hilarious, because Bigblock himself very rarely adds anything to the discussion........He acts as if copying an article is his role in the discussion....I have asked him on several occasions if he believes what his post says and he always says that he agrees with everything he posts...........But Bigblock never complains about those who agree with his posting not contributing to the "conversation"......Apparently "I agree" is the only valid response to a Bigblock C+P...........

I don't read Leafy's blogs.....so I have never commented on them....maybe one or two comments in all these years.......and nowhere, except your imagination have I ever indicated that anything he posts is "gospel"....a term that I have never used, anywhere.........Do you think that I am obliged to read and comment on Leafy's blogs in order to appease your sense of fairness?.........

Are you feeling hard done by? ........Are you ever going to answer my questions, or are you just going to feel sorry for yourself?.....No one is questioning your right to post whatever you want, but at least take responsibility for what you post....people are going to disagree with you.......suck it up buttercup.......

Man, you are obsessed with Alinsky......You belong to an Alinsky Club or what?.........As for Leafy, I have seen a number of his comments in other people's blogs including my own. Not a contradiction at all. .....You still haven't answered my questions.......All this rigamarole, all these posts......Quoting Alinsky instead of your own words.........

You obviously don't know what you think or believe about what Susan Stamper Brown says ........or you would have answered my questions by now .......That's a lot of running in circles just to avoid admitting that you just don't know what you think.

Still at it eh?......If you don't want to engage with me, why do you keep coming back?.......You imagine that other people use Alinsky rules because you have so few points of reference, so you cram everything into the box labeled Alinsky..........You've been doing that for years now.......You should really widen your scope of reference.

I do want to know what you think about Stamper Brown's theory stated in this blog..........You are holding on to your thoughts like a man who ate too much cheese.........Go away, I'm tired of your stingy attitude......EITHER SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT.
