You are a song. You are a song. When I see your face, that adoring, then love consumes me and I lose all sense, of ego’s power and of what I am. Panic takes me and my head starts to spin, a pounding of audacious noise, till I pulsate to the sound and your face fades. Then comes silence and a fear, then a distance, a sweet sound and growing. My fear diminishes and music calms me, this joyful sound, this softening, which makes up your face within its play.. And… You become a song, a beautiful melody, which no-one else has ever heard, and the words of that song, the music, keeps going round in my head, till you become a blessed signature tune, which never finds itself an ending, but dances and shimmies its joy, to become the picture of your beautiful face. And your lips smile as you begin to sing, in a voice as sweet as brings you alive, to my consciousness and then I know, the harmony’s heart, the words to the tune, so we harmonise to love and I love you, as the song becomes soulful, floating, and lost in a bluesing sky.. |
