After brexit, how do you see the future panning out?. We have tories and labour basically leaderless and the economy tanking. I'm worried, sorry if this has been mentioned before, think we are heading into dangerous territory. thoughts?

hi fossel, I think the opposite mate, the eu is closing ranks and pressuring uk into invoking article 50, and encouraging Scotland to leave uk. its a bit of a mess.

Hi Champiuzat, Very few of us in N. America know anything about the European Union's aims and regulations. I sure don't know enough to comment.

I do know that our Canadian stock market took a big hit when the results were announced.

From what I've listened to on BBC and public radio, many used the vote to let the 'powers that be' know they weren't happy with the way the country was being run..... and were rather surprised to realize that their protest voted them out of the EU.

hi rocket, yeah think a few leave voters were not expecting this result. Its certainly got the EU fuming and they definitely do not want to lose face in this.

It wasn't the "UK" who voted to leave...London and South, Northern Ireland and Scotland voted to remain. Only Wales, Northern and Midland regions of England voted to leave with a win if only one million odd votes.

People believed the campaign of lies, sadly.

hi Katie, its a bit of a mess isn't it. I honestly think Scotland could leave now, Nicola Sturgeon in Brussels talking with EU leaders. Westminster in such a dire state.

We hardly heard anything here about Brexit until the day of the vote, but that's all we're hearing about now. I hope everything works out o.k. It doesn't appear anyone really thought this idea through and now no-one seems to know what's involved. Wishing you all the best.
