I really enjoy my Zturn mower, but it doesn't have a roll bar or seat belts. I only have one steep spot in all my mowing, out by the ditch by the road. It is straight up or down, whichever I chose to do, only a couple of times.
My daughter laughed the first time she used the mower and said she felt like she needed a seat belt, although she didn't slide. I remember my first time too, and it does feel like you might fly off the front of it, at first.
I believe you will really like it. It cut my mowing time from 4.5 hours down to 2.5, less if I go fast, but it isn't how fast you mow, it's how well you mow fast! LOL

Seat belts on a mower! I never knew they had them. Will have to check out these the next time we go by or go to the mower shop.

They usually have a couple of them outside their shop.

Please work slowly my friend!! ... I'm sure you will just cut up and down, and not try to cut horizontally. Some areas are best just left alone.

I fondly remember Winn-Dixie from when Eric & I wintered in Florida. They had a sign at the checkout which stated, "If you are the fifth person in line, you will get a free carton of ice cream."
Since they seemed like a popular chain, I would think that finances unrelated to the groceries business are involved??

Yow-za Yow-za, it's a fine machine you have there ranger, and a reliable brand name. I have used zero turn mowers for several years and must admit they are the best. Also use self-propelled mowers, great for people who have mild disabilities.

    Quoting  :

I doubt that the ride in those new tractors are all that jarring. There may not be springs on the tractor itself, but those cabs are a work of art! My family was a farming family, as was my first husband's and the evolution of farming equipment over the years is astronomical!
My mower seat isn't Uncomfortable, but I'm only on it for about 2-3 hours at a time. My problem is getting back off of it afterwards. My knees won't let me step down like most people would, so I scoot to the edge of the seat, stretch my leg and put my foot on the ground, then push myself away from the seat. Looks awkward, but works for me!

Saw a clip on a guy who just pulled a mower up and down a very steep slope with a rope, worked fine. Lawn mowing contractors didnt like doing his place. Guess the trees would be a problem at your place though trying to use that method.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.
