Interesting. My late husband and I were good friends of another couple, the man being the cop in our small town. He said most of the time, he liked his job, but he finally quit. One of the duties was a walk through the uptown business area a couple of times during the night, checking the doors and looking for anything suspicious. He said, 99.9% of the time, all is well........... but that 0.01% could be a local man inside, who would rather shoot than live with the embarrassment of being caught, and he couldn't take that chance with a family.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Wow what a story, Ranger... I'm only aware of a cop's life in the big city, other than what I've seen on TV. Nevertheless, I'm sure you do run into danger no matter where. Thanks for sharing..
