I am slightly confused........ well, some might say VERY confused, but that is a different story............... You said, "A bill working its way to President Trump’s desk could change that, by allowing gun owners who are allowed to carry concealed guns in their home states to exercise the rights in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry."
If the other state doesn't prohibit concealed carry, wouldn't the licensed carrier be ok in another state anyway? Or is one supposed to have a license from every state they might cross?

Actually, Illinois does allow concealed carry (after classes, etc) but not open carry...... and has certain requirements for nonresidents, so I see what your blog means about more uniform regulations.

I have not owned a gun for probably 40 years or more, way back before we had to have FOID cards. Guns are not registered in our state, but owners are. I don't even think I could hold one or shoot it accurately any more.
