Another thing, when I was a kid, health insurance covered catastrophic events, like hospitalizations, not every little doctor visit and pill a person needed to take.
Over my lifetime, I have lived years with insurance and years without insurance, and believe me, I prefer the assurance of having insurance. I'm blessed to have had it through my employer, and now through Joe's retirement and Medicare, but we do pay a pretty penny in premiums.
I do worry about those who have to purchase it on their own..... and I think it should be able to be tailored to their needs and able to purchase it from companies across state lines...... like car insurance is.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
