That sounds delightful, but I'm the only one who likes the mixed greens and I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a gadget like this, no matter how intriguing it is.
I do enjoy having something growing in the kitchen (in addition to the mold on the old food in the fridge) so I recently took the tip off a sweet potato and put it in water. I now have a little forest on the window sill, and they are starting to sprout roots, so maybe I will separate them and grow my own plants for spring.
I had saved my amaryllis lily from last year, and repotted it this winter, and although it is not dried out or rotted, it didn't send up any shoots.
Enjoy your salads! What kind of dressing do you like?

The first time I saw a hydroponic garden was outside of Vincennes, Indiana, growing tomatoes. I did eventually eat some. Several of us tried them and none of us could taste anything different.

Joe uses vinegar and oil on his salads too. He even likes just chopped up fresh tomatoes with vinegar and oil...... to me, it is yuck. I buy several kinds of vinegar for him, and EVOO, but not for me. I want creamy French on my salad, or some other type of French. There is also a very low sodium Greek dressing at Aldi's that he likes. It is like a vinegar and oil with garlic and other herbs in it.

Oh yes, Pat... same way I make my salad dressings (oil & vinegar) but I use a Balsamic to which I add a filtered raspberry compote, but lately I found a Balsamic raspberry vinaigrette, so yummy. I have salads every single day. My greens consists mostly of Arugula to which I might add spinach and/or some other greens. I also add tomato, red onion, cucumber, peppers (red, orange, yellow) & my own concoction of spices!
