That had to be one of the scariest moments of your life. I cannot even imagine the cold like that. Glad those others came running like they did. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

One of the saddest stories in our area was about a woman who worked in the kitchen in a nursing home. Her supervisor was a stickler about absenteeism, and this woman never missed worked, so during one of our blizzard type storms, she headed to work. She was only about a mile or so from the town where she worked, when she either slid into the ditch or had car problems, I don't remember which. But instead of sitting in her car and waiting for help, she attempted to walk the rest of the way to the town..... had a heart attack ( no doubt due to the exertion in that blizzard) and died. People need to be prepared for trouble in that kind of weather, just like they made modifications to the vehicle you were using. Now, I need to take my own advice and prepare ours for winter! Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
