We get these in our yard. We didn't know what they were but my daughter knew instantly when I told her what it looked like. (She knows all these weird things). Sooo, now we have our very own Geico geckos.

Several years ago my longtime gal friend and I went to Hawaii. When we got back people asked if I had seen a gecko. I told them I didn't but would probably had thought they were filming a Geico commercial.

Hi Tom, the single colored one is very scary, though its colors are nice. I don't like any reptile anyhow. Lisa.

Some of the Geico commercials are "ok", but like you said, if I have to watch them, I like to be entertained. I especially enjoyed the talking baby ones for Etrade, I think it was..... My favorite was when the main baby spotted his friend in the new born nursery and hollered, "What are you doing?" And his friend replied, "Speed dating!"
As for the gecko, my youngest son was very fond of reptiles, and had an African Fat-tailed Gecko for several years...... that led to an Iguana, then to snakes. I don't mind them in captivity, but I hate to be startled by one in the wild.
