Trump had been told - specifically - that there was going to be no endorsement. The Trump people had the speech well before the event. To whine and get upset is childish.

What is MORE childish is that Trumps response was to the standing ovations Cruz got. The Donald himself had to go prod the NY delegation to action: booing the idea of voting your conscience for the betterment of our Republic.

Not that I know much about the man but I wondered if Cruz didn't endorse Trump on principle - if so, that is to be respected.

Lil - you nailed it! And I don't think many people appreciated it. But yes, that is what he told Trump when asked for an endorsement.

I agree Cruz is a good guy, I don't think he stood a chance against hiLIARy. Unfortunately a good campaigner doesn't necessarily make a good candidate. I do like Pense but don't know him. I hope Trump will be an improvement and work with Ted

you folk cant think beyond your own little boxes.

The facts are these...

Trump knew what Cruz was going to say but didn't care....Why?

Cruz's non-endorse, means nothing to Trump as far as Republicans go. Those that would listen to Cruz...have no where else to go.

Trump understands to win a national election, a Republican candidate needs significant crossover votes.

The truth is, to most Democrats, Cruz is the face of the Republican party (sorry Adolpho you got that one wrong too)

people say they don't like Trump, but they really don't know Trump, but they do know Cruz.
Trump knows he has the ability to create a new image with most people. But to do so he has to remove himself from the Republican ideology. Cruz helped him do that.

What Trump also understands is that most Republicans are stuck in their little boxes, and will only be able to check the Republican box when voting time comes.

Your opening statement is just not true.

The fact are if Democrats marched in step and voted, Republicans would never win an election, any election, anywhere, anytime.

Republican vote, that's what they do, and almost all vote Republican. You don't have to worry about turning out the vote. Democrats on the other hand have to turn out the vote to win.

Democrats are the ones that are apathetic about voting, not Republicans.

You don't have a clue about what Trump is doing.

First, no matter what he says, Republicans will vote, and vote for him.
Second, he will try and get Democrats to vote for him, appear to be not so Republican. It's a win/win situation for him. If he succeeds they cross over, if he doesn't then they just won't vote
.

What we have in the this election is only two parties .
One so called Democratic, and one so called Independent.

The Republicans have been taken out of this elections.

You've been hoodwinked, by the master hoodwinker.

You have no control over Trump, he's made that perfectly clear.
He's never supported the Republican agenda.
He fed you, what you wanted to eat, and you ate it up.
It a testimony to state of the Republican party
No matter happens in this election......You Lose.

I didn't mean you specifically,
I use you in general, I'm trying to refrain from using you folks.

You know what you think, you know what you do. I'm just guessing here.

But, you prove my point...All that you know and all you have seen, doesn't really matter. Trump doesn't matter, you'll still vote Republican.
He knows that...That's why he wanted, no needed to be the Republican nominee.

I hate to be crude, but funny always wins out......

You left your dick hanging out, and he's got you by the balls!

Saying "he thinks hiring some contractor to remodel an old building qualifies him to run a country" reminds me of fossil's assessment of the Coast Guard Mission. In comparison, what were Obama's qualifications. ALL of his past is sealed. The main thing Trump needs to do is turn on the light and the cockroaches will run for cover
